well nvm dude dont do it not worth it AT ALL. Just find somewhere else to do it man come on now your in a university full of people use that to your advantage. Anyways this is the third time these have grown out from being shaken after outer wall was recovered. you guys think they will be ready to shake up tonight and spawn I dont really wanna shake them up to many times. :?:

also Im not doing monotubs anymore Im gonna be colonizing 10 lbs. of high mountain compost with 6 3/4 full qt. jars grain in trays. I wanted to get everyones opinions on what trays I should buy and any suggestions is welcome I will be sitting the trays on a thin layer of perlite one tray per tub that way I can fan alot with a more consistant humidity level? if anyone thinks ide get a better yield putting it all into one tub with no perlite let me know but I think ide be safer with the perlite.

or does anybody see any problems putting a bowl in the middle of each tub and fill in with substate around the bowl then put wet perlite in the bowl when ready to fruit:?:

dude you confused the crap outta me, what tek are you following? bowl of perlite? are you doing monotubs with mountain compost as poo sub?
my best suggestion is find a tek and stick with it. to the T.

lol sorry man been freakin out a bit I guess but I got 6 quarts of spawn mixed up wth my compost in trays and saran wrapped. Yeah its high mountain compost, ill be putting trays ontop of a thin layer of perlite in my tub.

well I have spawned 6 of my quarts to the 10 pounds of compost I bought. Just waiting for those trays to colonize then I will fruit them I wasnt sure If I needed holes in the saran wrap that I have over my trays. I poked a fork into them twice each so 8 small holes for ge

Forgot about this lil guy, ive kept it out in my dresser so that I can look at it daily and drool over it. (made it special for that so dont care much if I loose it.) and I have 3 more jars at this stage. I shook them up when the outside of them covered over (about 2 days ago) ide say they have 4 or 5 more days left. Bought a bail of straw from a local dairy farm for 3 bucks and will pasturize a pillow case full in the next couple days for my remaining spawn.

thanks man I learned a lot and im so pumped about next grow! will start immediately and will start a new jounal titles ralphsters amazonian grow journal #1. I threw myself into this and made myself learn quick, I panicked alot but I think its gonna be okbongsmilie:sleep:

btw I had a question I kinda got the term monotub mixed up with something else. Im gonna put my trays in 13 gallon tubs surrounded by wet perlite. You guys think I should just put monotub style holes with polyfill and fan twice a day or have no holes and fan once an hour will lights are on?

and yes I have nothing better to do than fan and inspect my shit I cant get enough of it. But wondering if it would be better to get constant exchange from the mono holes
