Elite gear is overrated

I'd ask a Doctor then.

Edit: not trying to be a smart ass... I would love to see what the MD would say. :eyesmoke:
Or someone else with a lot of experience with particular strains and how they interact with a specific symptoms

I agree

My point being that the vast majority of cannabis marketing is hogwash. Bullshit lies wrapped up in confusion and outright falsehood

I think they should all go thru a retraining & be brought up to speed on what's good for what. Maybe even kick it up a notch requiring them to obtain a separate, but relative degree in cannabis science somewhere.

That's what Naturopathic Practitioners do actually. But I agree people like neurologist should be up to date on some level

The old school strains that i grew up with are
Northern lights
Rock lock
Durban poison
Mtf
Pr3 98 bubba kush
Jack herer * spelling
Iranian " short " season
Master kush
Afghan
Ect. Ect.
Each of these old strains i have awsome tales about.
A true cultivaur would be a stablized strain,, a true " strain" not the hybredized watered down bullshit f1's people slap a name on and call a strain..

Yeah don't forget the clone only.... You think those are bonafide cultivator?

Can it exists outside of seed from is I guess what I'm saying. I mean a seed in and of itself (in my mind anyhow) is a hybrid of sorts

A cultivar is "an organism, especially one of an agricultural or horticultural variety or strain originating and persistent under cultivation." Merriam-Webster.
It's a fairly generic term, a cultivar is simply a cultivated variety of plant, i.e. grown for agricultural purposes. A cultivar is not necessarily true breeding, but it can be.

A cultivator is a mechanical implement for breaking up the soil.

A cultivar can be a cutting or a seed, and a seed can be a hybrid or a true breeding variety.

If understand what mean, sure, self the clone..
So what I'm saying is capture the plant in it's most spectacular from first then start working on getting it past the stages....

Agree fully... A cultivator is a widely accepted strain under persistent cultivation

Where a strain is more of an isolate much more similar to a cutting... It can be a cultivator but not always

Need a pin wheel so I can visualize everything in it's entirely

Came from landrace clones hunted down by fantastic people like you.
Correction... Hunted down by good friends who knows a thing or two about reciprocity and trust

Sometimes the natives know best IMO anyhow. Especially if they been around the block a few times. Or in this case a few decades

What is elite gear? There is so much hype out there over this strain or that strain. The way things have been hyped up over the years weed should be out shopping for our groceries and driving people to work. This is better, that is better, etc... It can only get so good.

Different is a better way to describe the different cannabis cultivars but even that is All mucked up. This cross crossed with that cross and then crossed again with this and then crossed with that and everything turns gray.

The best most unique cannabis I've smoked in decades have been landraces or crosses I've made from landraces. It might not have had the highest levels of THC but it's had unique characteristics that were very prominent in taste, smell, and effects that I can't find in today's hyped up poly hybrids.

I'm just doing my own thing and am happy with the results. I share my stuff freely and the recipients are happy as well. That's all that matters. I could care less about any so called "Elite" gear. I don't need or want it.

I like the attitude. I share your philosophy on multiple fronts. Willing to share my stash with those capable of approaching the diversity of strains we have available
