Aren't you going to chop a lot of those plants down? Did the plan change?
Yes sir these are regular seeds I don’t know how many females so I am letting the toppings grow to a decent size to ensure rooting success since I don’t really have margin on error, 50 clones is all I can fit in the 2x2. I will transplant from root plugs in I think 3x3inch pots after 7-8 days and switch to 12/12 after rooting so they show sex signs in about 2 weeks and I know which ones to pull out from the 2x4. In the 2x4 I will keep 18-28 females and flower them with just 2 big main cola with no side branching nubs nor larf so every bud is well ventilated. While we wait for the clones sex signs the plants in the 2x4 will be recovering from the hard topping but it’s not gonna be too long since they have well developed roots so I believe the timing will be just right for the transplant before main flowering in the 2x4

I would advise looking at others who run sealed systems with co2, and all that it entails. If you're just going to run co2 in your tent with a humidifier and zero exchange, it's going to get hot and moldy.
I did some research and that would be plenty, I'm sure if there is something to seal better I'll find a way to. I'll have a 20 pound co2 tank and that should last about a month with a full air tent exchange every couple hours, I did some brief math on that but I will see when I actually use it, co2 is pretty cheap a 20lbs refill is 15$ its the trip that bothers me so as long as I have to do the trip once a month I am ok with that

What about the heat?
Ha-ha! we got to the weakest link, yes bro temp is what I am trying to perfect as of now, I ll try to explain but when I ll video update in a few days it ll all make more sense. Basically I got the house ac in the room, 6 fans in the 2x4, the light block is outside the tent with a vent taped on top, I got another portable ac in between the 2x4 and the 2x2, tinted window blockers, full black wall shade window over.
I did a test yesterday and with the inline closed the temp reached 81.8 max, which is actually very good for veg but I would like to get it down up to 75 because that's the temp that I want for the last 2 weeks of flower

CO2 isn't really worth it for a small scale grow . Your plants look great .
20-30% more bud mass sounds juicy tho, I will definitely implement in the flower tent, 15$ of co2 a month it’s a worthy input imo, You are definitely right on the small scale utility but this is a hobby for me so I am just taking the opportunity and having lots of fun even with my few plants. Thanks I’ll do what I can to keep them happy!

Cool I was also looking into that, how do you control ppm and how long does the yeast last each time?
You can't control ppm and it's supposed to last 5-6 weeks. However I use 3 bottles of yeast to one bottle of pure water with a 3 way splitter to "clean" the c02 before it goes into grow tent. Make sure the common line to your pure water is completely submerged and the outlet to your tent is above the water so the clean c02 freely escapes to your fan.

Sounds a bit too ghetto for me bro I'll just get a tank lol. I love my plants but I wanna automate everything as much as I can.
I might still experiment tho if I can achieve a decent co2 ppm range and keep the bottles out the tent could be a fair alternative. Loving the tank idea still

Closing on week 4
I was thinking of topping between today and tomorrow, is there a best time to top like sun or night cycle?
I am gonna flower only 2 bud sites per plant so I may have to cut a lot, I also need to transplant again in 2 weeks so I could bury a bit of the stem in the new soil.
I could cut up the 3rd node and bury a bit down at transplant. They are all big enough for nice clones which requires at least 2 nodes from the top.
How would you make a sense out of this?

what do you mean by only 2 bud sites per plant?
Just 2 main colas with nugs all around it, no side branches nugs, just 2 main ones per plant, can't fit more than that I believe cause If end up with 28 females 56 colas is the tent max before pushing in too much and get jungly and moldy
