umm even if all of his nutes arent exactly what a lot would classify as organic lol. some are, its a thread on making your own ferts i think it doesnt really matter as in the end it will e a good example and still of use to people who want complete organic... theres just a lot more to work out then lol.
like he said at the beginning it was sposed to be organic to begin with lol.

I'll have to work on my definition of organics I thinks, I was taught in chemistry that if it is a carbon based compound its an organic compound, but I found out in gardening organic meens it lived at one point or came out of a living thing.
Things that aint organic in my mix, (sorry)
epsom salts, found naturally in a spring in epsom surrey.
sulphate of potash, there is a natural mineral form of potassium sulfate, namely arcanite, is relatively rare though.
sulphate of ammonia, 100% man made and as inorganic as it comes.
It wont let me change the name to nearly all organic/natural, but next time i know better ta jester again, lol

btw dont worry to much though ya could pm staff to change the name... i dont like it when people act all hogh and mighty even though we all do it at times... this is a cannabis forum theres bound t be mistakes people will just have to learn to live with that shit imho. if not have a net fight, sort ya shit out amd either be friends or part ways without being absolute asses lol.

Ratio between 2 forms of N (NO3:NH4) Best ratio of NO3-N (Nitrate) Vs. NH4-N (Ammoniacal) in any liquid fert is 9:1 as most of the N taken by the plant is in a nitrate form and a very small portion is taken up in an Ammoniacal form. ferts with higher NH4-N can reduce volume of the total plant growth. In general those plants will produce smaller darker green foliage compared to higher NO3-N ferts.
This is due to N form effects on photosynthesis and N assimilation as NH4-N must be immediately used in a process requiring carbos (the sugars you are trying to produce) and without sufficient levels of carbos free NH4-N can be toxic to plants. While on the other hand when NO3-N is taken up it is reduced to NH3 and assimilated into amino acid. If sufficient carobs are not available then the NO3-N is stored in the vacuoles (storage house for salts used to build up osmotic pressure) of the cell until carbos are available. Which means NO3-N will never tie up available carbos (sugars) at the expense of the plant's growth.
So dont use ammoniacal nitrogen in ya nutes, try nitrogen from blood instead

Hey essex I got lucky at my hydro shop. Not like ur thinking though. I went to get a two part organic like u said and found that they now brew a sweet mix of organic fertz all the time. Gave me a free sample and my girls r lovin it. My tomatoes and all my garden is lovin it. Also got some FF tiger bloom whatcha think about that combo should I do anything else? The mix has bat poo fish emulsion some blood or bone meal or somethig also something about worms and micro bacteria hell I don't know. They really seem to know there stuff and the plants in the store r amazing so I think it's pretty good mix and it's tea form already.
