I am about 5000 in right now. But I got a ton of stuff I didn't even get to use. I got magic pots kind of like a smart pot from 1000 gal down to 100 and everything in between. I have about 30 of them. Also 3 600 watt with digital ballasts. This will all be used for next years outdoor now that I feel more comfortable, it will be large!

roughly $60 for seeds, and another $30 for soil, and about 10 for nutes (i use cheap everything) so right around $100 for this years grow

My first real grow this year so i needed several starter supplies i wont need to buy next year but here is my total. I have two 4ft LST mothers in 5 gal smartpots and took a total of 8 clones , kept 1 in a 2 gal smart pot. I have pruning shears and a magnifying glass, FF trio nutes, FFOF soil, neem oil and a pyrethrin based insecticide, a DIY humidity dome, and two clamp lights with 26w cfls, a ph meter, cloning powder, razorblades, spray bottles, a watering can, and some molasses for good measure.
I spent a total of $320 so far but still need drying supplies and cure jars. Considering an oz in my area runs about $320+ and im expecting 10+oz dry, id say it was well worth the investment

Great point about the meds that have been replaced..
My monthly bill for pills + the dr who I'd see monthly was 250$ and this was just 1 bottle each mo. (it was higher when I was on all the meds they gave me)
Now.. I am nothing cept this plant! and feel so much healthier!!

Fantastic idea for this thread btw G. I didn't even think to stop and take into account how much money i spent......I would have spent so much more just for 4 ounces of weed.

Pesticides=$25
Tomato Cages= $10
Scissors to trim= $15
Ball Jars= Left over from last year
So I spent $115 for two plants. And a few of these expenses will cover me for next season also(Bought too much insecticide). This will supply me close to 1.5-2 pounds and get me through to next october without having to buy any.

Let's see here. I need to think pretty hard on this one, since I am baked! Lol!
I started out buying a 400w Mh/Hps Kit which came with an aircooled hood w/ wings, Revolt dimmable ballast, yo yo hangers, 1 Metal Hylide Bulb, and 1 High Pressure Sodium Bulb. I got that for about $200 w/ shipping and handling off of ebay. It may have been a few dollars cheaper, but I can't remember exactly. I bought that back in November of 2011.
Then I spent $120 bucks are getting ripped off by a seedbank for the seeds that I purchased for the 1st time off the internet, so I decided to research it a bit more and found Attitude. I believe that is right after I joined the RIU community. Then I spent about $150 on seeds that rip. Once I got those, I went on a rampage buying seeds on my credit card. I spent about a $1,000 on genetics, and I know I got some winners in my collection. I am slowly but surely weeding the good ones from the bad ones.
Then I've spent about $150 for a carbon filter w/ a fan built together. It doesn't work as well as an inline fan & carbon filter would, but I don't feel like cutting wholes in my walls to do it correctly. I don't plan to live here forever. And it is better than before and what I am growing now is very stinky.
I bought $35 in Miracle Grow soil, MG perlite, MG Seedling Starter, and MG and Shultz nutes.
I bought $30 in Botanicare Trio Pack of Nutes consisting of Cal/Mag, Grow, and Bloom for soil and hydro. I am using soil by the way. I also bought some bamboo stakes and some ph drops to check my tap waters ph but all was good.
I bought a shit load of 2-way adapters to make a 4-way adapter to add as supplemental. Like about a true 200w worth of CFL's. That cost me maybe, "You know what I cannot tell you how much I spent on all the adapters and how much I paid for the CFL's that I bought. So I'm just going to say that I spent $20 bucks.
I also had to buy pots, and I can't remember how much I paid for mine, so nevermind I will just say for free.
The Grand Total so far is about $1750.
I want to add the $20 dollar increase for my electric bills for 8 months, and that will come out to be $160.

I forgot to add that I accidentaly bought 2 400w HID kits, but I have only used the one. I have the other in a safe place. Not where the grow op is. Anyway that is another $200 that I spent. I won't use it unless this one breaks. I don't want to sell it, because as soon as I do the one I have now would break. LOl!
That's alot of money, and I am still paying on those credit card purchases, but it is paying it's debt off real quick for me. I am 2 weeks away from harvesting my OG#18 and 3 weeks on the Ak-47. The plants them selves look like shit, but they have trichs all over them. The Ak-47 had to be staked today, because the branches are about ready to break from them heavy ass top colas. And that is what I love to see. 3-4 weeks can't get here fast enough for me. I'm broke and have no more weed except for a few bowls. That won't last me long either. Plus I grow this strictly for myself. I don't sell the shit. I will smoke my friends out and shit, but that is it.

I know.. and lets all be 100% honest.. had we not had the ability to share and increase the knowledge we had.. we'd all be happy smoking dirt weed if we had no idea there was or IS better..
