I was talking to my friend last nite(who is known for coming up with random things) and he asked if I ever heard of water curing. He explained it to me as submerging the buds in water and keeping them submerged for about 3 days. He said that because THC is non-water soluble it will be ok and just break down the water soluble elements such as any extra nutes, etc... I said it sounded stupid and that if you dry and cure properly the weed will be fine! So anyone ever hear of this method or did he smoke too much? lol

it literally strips away smell and bag appeal. even when smoking you'll hardly smell anything. but it is definitely smoother than bud dried and cured the conventional way. i personally wouldn't do it since i love to have stanky purdy bud but if you don't care about that then give it a shot.

And its disgusting. Tried it, wont ever again, sad I read the similiar thread here on RIU where someone else also suggested it. It also encourages bacteria and mold which are present in the air everywhere around you to grow for those 3 days with your herb. Air dry them, hang em up in a closet somewhere. Have a fan oscillate over them on low. Thats all you need to do.

If you want instant bud just microwave it for 30 seconds on 30% power three times. Give it a minute rest between zaps so the herb stays cool. After your done three times, then give it about 10 minutes in open air and just like overcooked Chicky McNuggets it'll be crisp and ready to smoke.

yea i thought it sounded like a dumb idea when he suggested it. almost sounds like something a kid would do so not to get caught lol I wasn't considering doing it I just never heard of that method before and wanted to see what other people think
