I shipped my Volcano to storz-bickel in Oakland about a week and a half ago for some minor repair, I know the thing got to them last Wednesday. I left a note in the package with my address and phone number and email like they ask you to do, but I still haven't gotten any word back.
I'm just curious as to how long some of you have had to wait to hear from these guys after sending your volcano in to them....

No lol I only sent in the main heat generating part. The other smaller parts do tend to get covered in resiny material though. I even had the whole metal body/top thing off and kinda brushed out any dust or anything from inside.
I checked the tracking number, shipped it via UPS. It got to them on Wednesday

Well I guess I'll report back, just for future reference for anybody who may be lurking around on the site with the same problem i had.
First and foremost! Let me say that both Storz & Bickel USA and UPS offer incredible customer service! I just took my volcano (the main heat generating/air blowing part) to a UPS store, paid hem 18 dollars to package it and ship it across the country as well as provide $600 insurance on it. The guy was like "what is this thing, some kind of old lava lamp??" I just said "Nope...it's a vaporizer. I use it for cooking." He was just like Ooooh I hear ya and packed it away. Put "cookware" under description. I tracked it along its route and it arrived at Storz & Bickel USA exactly a week later.
Just 3 days after that, Friday morning, I receive a call on my cell phone around 1030 AM and it is one of the people w/Volcano in Oakland. My vape is nearly 5 years old and has had its fair share of beatings, so he was asking me just to what extent I wanted to repair it. I had the option to replace the cord, replace the aluminum shield (which had been badly bent in over the years), and fix the button (which was the reason I sent it). I talked to the guy and told him I really just needed to go with the least expensive option possible, so he offered to just fix my broken switch and ship the volcano back for 60 bucks. He then proceeded to tell me he would do his best to take most of the dents out and replace the screens on the top of the machine. He did an incredible job of giving the machine a makeover, not to mention 2 of the 3 screws holding the cover on had stripped out and he replaced those. It's practically like brand new. Excellent customer service! If I can get away with just having to ship my volcano into Volcano Co. in Oakland ever 3-5 yrs. for a $60 fix.....I'm set for life!
