F.P. Nursery Room

Transplanted the Clones of Samantha (goji fem) and left the male in the solo cup. Going to keep him in there until I can move him downstairs where he can have more vertical room. Also topped him to slow his growth for a day or two.

Patrick (male) is showing balls now so he is definitely ready for the flip. Samantha twins are packing tight nodes.

I am not going to keep track of Day # until the flip. I have been holding these girls back for a long time to wait for room downstairs.

Dang it all. The fan/filter dried the weed out too fast. Everything feels dry.

Jarred the popcorn with hydrometer to see if I make the 55% cut off. At 53 now. I will update within the next couple hours.

Stick a fan leaf or 2 in the jar of buds for half a day. It will give the buds a little moisture without changing anything.

Humidity hit 67% around midnight. Opened jars overnight. Try again in morning.

Big.buds still hanging. Going to wait till Thur/Friday for them.

Been watching my jars like a hawk!

Mom is bring over some large half gallon jars tomorrow so I can get readings on all the bud instead of switching between three to five jars.

Yeah I thought they were too dry but then had to keep the jar open for 4 hours two or three times. The other bud that was too wet got sorta over dried. IDK. I stuck it with the jar that was hovering at 67%. I am gonna do the main colas tonight to check their %.

Definitely buying more Hygrometers next go around. I need like 3 and only have 1. Well I have the acurite one, but I don't know how accurate it is. Maybe I will test it next to the caliber later tonight.

Flaming I really dont get it :)

you buy 2way boveda humidipack from here:
http://www.bovedainc.com/store/herbal/boveda-8-gram-for-herbal/

they have more options, but 62% rh is optimum for curring mj.
then you get 10x8g packs for $10. (I payed +$13 for delivery to Europe). Then you just drop one 8gram pack per quart. You can be curring 10 quarts for $10 for like 4-6months. No burping, constant 62% humidity inside jars... no head pain.
It works amazing for me.

Sheesh.. curing stresses me the fuck out.
leave the jars closed. Buds create their own humidity when they release co2. Only open them once a after 4 days then once a week. Let them decarboxilate. Opening them constantly does not cure at all. It just dries them out.

Out of fear of mold (from last harvest) I over dried these. GAHH!!!!

I really am considering getting those boveda packs. I don't have time for this nonsense while taking care of a baby.

I have read they are just for preserving the humidity once you have it down in the proper area.

Have you ever gotten mold with them in there?

no, i just drop buds in jars and forget about them for weeks, it cures on its own. amazing product.. they are at constant 62% that way, non stop curing, never had mold

Maybe I will order some for next grow. Will be a much smaller harvest with the goji. Prob an ounce and half between the two since they are in one gallon pots.

I spent two days trying to figure out how to keep the Samantha mother but I finally gave up. She is too stretched from being in my crappy cabinet with no exhaust.

waited to see if the FCJ seeds would mature but they didn't seem to do anything in the week I was watching.

The FCJ yielded about five quart jars of potent herb. Hit me and the hubby hard and fast. Jars are sitting between 53-60% last time I checked.

So I am not worried about potency. I just want to get the flavor and smell to come through in the cure. I hope I didn't fuck that up.
I will recheck the jars tomorrow.

So overall I am happy with the FCJ. Low odor throughout grow, responded well to topping, and a very nice high.

Looking forward to seeing what the Goji can do.

I'll do my best to remember to get pics of the buds and an approximate weight. (kinda scared to remove them from jars and dry em out more. Damn my neurotic self!)

All jars are in the proper curing range and I weighed it out to 3.8 ounces. That doesn't include the popcorn on bottom third of plant. I will be making hash with that.

So if I included the popcorn I would of broke 4 oz I think.

Pretty good. That would be .37 grams per watt. Was hoping to break into the .4 range but I got a good amount of finished product so I am happy.

Pics later tonight.
