Fallout 3

What's up everybody,

playin some fallout 3 right now, just took a few bong rips n was wondering how many other RIU members r playin fallout 3.

I just picked this game up and have 80 hours of gameplay, with well over 100 I'm guessing to go.

That's worth 50$ I don't need to hack my xbox for that shit, cuz it's worth every penny.

Basically just trying to start up a fallout fan thread.

What's ur battle armor?

Primary skills/ favorite perks?

What's ur tool of destruction?

Anybody post anything bout the game, even if it's a hater.
Go ahead, critique, or just share some shit.

Gotta love the special weapons and armor, anybody know of any locations don't b stingy let's hear that shit!!

its been out for forevvverr though

with i would have got it for 360 instead of ps3 with all the expansions they released

Played only once on the PC, but had great fun.

Why buy a xbox or PS when PC games are better and free?

pc games no better.. unless u have a custom computer, which i dont anymore

Is this game really any good once you get into it?Like how is the whole fighting/shooting system?I played it once at a friends house and you were a baby walking around and it seemed lame,He said it was only the beginning though and it gets better Im thinking about this now or madden 10 what one do you think is better I find whenever I buy a single player game I never get into it but this one might be an exception but I really like Madden also.

im never one for rpg's or anything, im a halo person if anything, but my brother came to my house one day with this game and was like yo try it.. he said it was worse than crack..

yup.. this was only a couple weeks ago.. and i have a full time job and im a full time student, and i have almost 100 hours played within the past 2 weeks.

its insane, both 1st and 3rd person shooter, in a map, that is so large, it will take at least 150 hours of gameplay to cover it, and thats just covering it, not killing everything or completing every quest..

id guess around 300 hours of gameplay before i get bored...

u can NEVER play the game twice and have it b the same.. u can choose to be a good person, barter with people, and talk out ur problems to make friends and allies, or u can pull ur fucking shotgun out and blow their fucking face off and take everything they have

my girlfriend is even on her 30th hour of playing this game. and she loves abercrombie, hollister, victorias secret, the color pink, UGGS, and small, wallet sized animals..

so yea lmfao.. anybody will love this game once they start.. madden is pretty boss, but there is absolutely ZERO competition.

of course my girlfriend has many friends in the game, and everyone likes her. her karma level is that of an angels in the game, and i kill everything, everywhere, all the time, my karma in the game is VERY EVIL SCOURGE OF HUMANITY... lol

oh yea, and about the crack thing.. he was right..u can say "its not as addicting as crack" but u r horribly mistaken...

nobody, and i mean NOBODY smokes rock for 10 hours straight.. lol

...maybe whitney houston and bobby brown...

With the add-ons, I've got more than 500 hours invested in this game.

I beat it without really meaning to...I had some side missions left to complete.I wasn't really interested enough to reload my saved game and go complete those missions.It's ok, but it was more of a fps....they just couldn't capture the "magic" of the original two games,IMO.I like the old isometric view they used to use for Fallout,Baldur's Gate, and other rpg's of that era...I've never had to have the best graphics available...if the story is good and the gameplay is fun,cool graphics are just icing on the cake.

Fallout 3 is a very nice and polished game and all but it's a bit too slow paced for my liking. If I'm going to play an American RPG I need it to be quicker paced like Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic or Mass Effect. I'm a huge fan of BIOWARE.

Simply put their just is way too much stuff going on in Fallout 3 for me to truly enjoy it. This game has so many options and it takes forever and a day to finish. I just don't have time for that. I will say it is a good game if you're looking for these qualities in a video game.

Oh...and Fallout 3 had no Jimmy Hats. Or vehicles.

I like Fallout 3 but honestly it scares the shit out of me


I feel like I'm alone in that game like I'm alone in the world, wandering around, getting shot and shit doin buffout

I usually go around stealing shit killing anyone that isnt quest related

I think im going to say fuck Fallout 3 and Madden for now and pick up good old fight night round 3 still my favorite game ever and I've been regretting selling it.I'll probably end up picking fallout 3 up sometime in the next week or two though if I have some extra money the guy at gamestop said it was only $25.00

Wish I wasn't paranoid about exchanging personal info, I'd just give you my copy.

its especially the hundreds of hidden shit in the game, like the Vengance which is the gatlin laser on crack, the special fat man that shoots 8 mininukes at once doing like 9,000 damage per hit (the missile launcher does upwards of 120), the terrible shotgun, which is the combat shotgun, once again, on crack, the special minigun, the special armor from the underworld..

fuck i must stop short cuz i wont stop talking lol..

special guns to make urself out of randomly collected shit, the rock-it-launcher which practically shoots anything that u can pick up in the waste land, from whiskey bottles to teddy bears..

wow.. its so great, that im going to go play it right now.. lol
