Tennessee pastor hosts 'witchcraft' book burning event

February 7, 2022 | 2:24 AM EDT
On Feb. 3, pastor Greg Locke of the Global Vision Bible Church in Mt. Juliet, Tenn., said books such as “Harry Potter” and “Twilight” should be burned.
we just stayed in Mt. Juliet when we went to Nashville a few days ago...didn't see any of that going on, fortunately.
it's like a day/night children of the corn kind of thing...in the daytime, around tourist and strangers, they're nice as can be, at night, when they're with each other...^

Taking heads on TV going on about Trump running in 2024 seem to be ignoring a few rather big elephants in the room. He is going down over the secret documents, with a possible delay for the Georgia runoffs and he will go away for life over the documents and obstruction of justice. Then there is the election case in Georgia on court TV and if Donald is in federal custody, he could be appearing in orange for that one. Next up in 2023 would be the J6 conspiracy trial with Donald participating from his cell...

Of course, the republicans are running from the fucker like he's on fire and about to explode, because he is.
It's funny. I think the press just assumes he'll escape justice again.

do you think the DOJ will actually need a prosecutor, if nutless wonder Garland ever works up the nerve to charge trump?
all they should have to do is ask him a few leading questions, and he will confess to everything...and be proud of what he did.
We might have to wait until Herschel's runoff because Donald will use it to run from the law. Rallies in Georgia, whether Herschel wants it or not and that might actually be a good thing for control of the senate. That would be the second time Trump fucked Mitch in Georgia.

i can't call this shit anymore...people that should have gotten their guts stomped out are in runoffs. kari lake and herschel walker both should have lost so bad it would sting for the rest of their lives...an insane trump election denier who refuses to say whether she'll accept the results of her own election, and captain concussion, who thinks he's a secret sheriff....
lauren boebert and that cunt greene are both horrible shitty foul excuses for human beings, and green got reelected, and boebert's race is way the fuck closer than it should be.
matt motherfucking child rapist, interstate line crossing gaetz is still in office and not behind bars...
this country is so fucked up, it's going to take entire generations to even get back to something close to normal

If you had won the house and keep the senate you would have justice, if not for gerrymandering and voter suppression you would have, the minority really already won by rat fucking ya in the states with redistricting.

You're right. That'd be a twofer in his mind. Trump's thoughts, "I'm still special. I can still get away with doing things that no one else can get away with. I'm still the alpha dog with $100M." Malignant narcissists are predictable. It makes for horrible leaders and chaos.

'They're haunted': Trump allies reportedly fear his 2024 announcement will blow up GOP's chances in Georgia

Donald Trump's allies are reportedly worried about the effect of his 2024 bid on the upcoming Georgia Senate run-off election, where Republican Herschel Walker is facing off against incumbent Democrat Raphael Warnock.

"I just spoke to a source who says it's all systems go," NBC News chief White House correspondent Kristen Welker told MSNBC on Friday. "That is certainly the public message that former President Trump is sending. He commented on this and said, 'what's the reason to delay?' However, there is a divide within Trumpworld."

"Some of his allies are saying he absolutely needs to go forward with this announcement, that any change in plans would look weak. There are some allies -- publically Jason Miller said this -- and then some privately allies are saying he should wait until after Georgia."

"They're haunted by the last Georgia run-off, where former President Trump was essentially calling the election results into question and they believe that may have depressed turnout," Welker explained. "So it's a little bit of deja vu. There is this divide in the backdrop as former President Trump seems to be inching closer to this announcement."

Republicans scored significant gains Tuesday in the House of Representatives and are expected to wrest control of the chamber from Democrats when the outstanding races are settled.

But the party had expected to more powerfully trounce President Joe Biden's Democrats and easily seize both the House and the Senate -- still undecided -- as well as some key governorships.

Instead, a number of candidates closely aligned with and endorsed by Trump failed to win in key races.

"Trumpy Republican candidates failed at the ballot box in states that were clearly winnable," the Wall Street Journal wrote.

Trump has hinted for months that he is ready to re-enter the fray, and recently indicated that he would make his plans official soon.

"Not to detract from tomorrow's very important, even critical election... I'm going to be making a very big announcement on Tuesday, November 15 at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida," he told a cheering crowd in Ohio earlier this week.

Jason Miller: Trump to Announce Presidential Run on Tuesday
Former President Donald Trump is preparing to announce his intent to run for the White House in 2024 on Tuesday, Nov. 15 according to his longtime adviser Jason Miller.

"President Trump is going to announce on Tuesday that he's running for president. And it's going to be a very professional, very buttoned-up announcement," Miller told former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon during an interview on his radio show on Friday.

He added that he has spoken with Trump earlier that day and said that the former president told him "there doesn't need to be any question" about his intent to run again.

"'Of course I'm running. I’m going to do this, and I want to make sure people know that I'm fired up and we've got to get the country back on track,'" Trump said, by Miller's account.

Trump previously said in a press release that he would make a "special announcement" on Nov. 15.

Newsmax's 'Shame of a Nation' Airs Sunday
Newsmax announced that its new documentary, "Shame of a Nation," will air Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.

"Shame of a Nation" (click here to see trailer) was produced by Newsmax to accurately and fairly detail not only the events of Jan. 6, 2021, but the civil-rights violations against many of the protesters.
Kinda sounds like, Birth of a Nation, doesn't it, that old silent movie that glorified the KKK.

Given all the advantages Republicans had going into this electin cycle. Given how badly it went for Clinton and Obama in their mid term elections. Given how this time around, Republicans are seen as "too extreme for America".

I'm feeling pretty good about the 2022 election.
