Taylor Taranto, a Trump supporter who stormed The Capitol on January 6, was arrested after he was found with guns and weapons near former President Obama’s home. It comes as authorities warn the largest threat on the homefront are domestic right wing criminals and terrorists. MSNBC Chief Legal Correspondent Ari Melber reports on the DOJ’s crackdown on insurrectionists amid a rise in political violence.

Go drag the cocksucker into court, slap him with the stiffest sentence possible, and cram his fucking ass into a cell the next day. Fuck these assholes who think they can ignore the law. It's either admit they can, or show them they can't...I say show ALL the motherfuckers that they can't. TODAY.

It's just a civil case he doesn't need to show up, but like Trump it often means he loses the case, and the plaintiff is awarded to cash. He is just storing up future trouble like Trump and one day someone will come to take his house over it and garnish his wages for 30% if he works for a living.

Every fascist movement needs a propaganda arm to lie for them.

BREAKING: Three former Fox executives blow the lid off Rupert Murdoch's corrupt right-wing empire as they step forward to express their "deep disappointment" for helping to launch it.

Slamming Fox as a "disinformation machine," former execs Ken Solomon, Bill Reyner, and Preston Padden stated that they regret helping Murdoch to "give birth" to Fox's television networks. They claim that at the time, there "was no Fox News Channel on the horizon."

They stated that while they "all greatly admired Rupert Murdoch and his vision" in the 1990s, they now see that Fox News has become a monstrosity.

"We never envisioned, and would not knowingly have enabled, the disinformation machine that, in our opinion, Fox has become,” they said.

The former executives called attention to the documented lies Fox News has inflicted on the world, in particular the Big Lie that the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump — which ultimately led to Fox paying nearly $800 million for spreading conspiracy theories about Dominion Voting.

"In our opinion, the Fox News Channel has had many negative impacts on our society,” they stated, adding that the "worst has been Fox’s role in promoting Trump’s ‘Big Lie.’"

They also blamed Fox News for its role in the deadly Jan. 6th insurrection and said that the "connection" between the two is "so strong" that several Jan. 6th defendants have pleaded not guilty and claimed to have been suffering from "Foxitis" which is supposedly a "disease caused by watching false news on Fox."

Padden feels so strongly about Fox that he recently threw his support behind a petition calling on the FCC to pull a local Fox station's broadcast license because it pushed "false news about the 2020 election.”

Take it from those who were inside and know the truth: Fox News is a menace to the world and must be destroyed.

The full segment is worth listening to but it is a bit ponderous. The entire 12 minute vid goes over events during Wray's testimony before House Judiciary Committee which Rep. Swalwell described as "absolute chaos". In this post, I skip the parts where revealing testimony by Wray was given in answers before friendly Democratic members of the committee. The link posted here begins with Lawrence's foreshadowing of Matt Gaetz's act for TV who is posing as a Committee member questioning Trump appointee, FBI Director Christopher Wray about Hunter Biden. Before the vid moves to showing Gaetz's performance, Lawrence O'Donnell tells the facts about the so-called transcript that Gaetz quotes from. Gaetz comes off as an absolute buffoon. But not out of context. O'Donnell sets the scene fairly and accurately. Gaetz provides the fake news, not O'Donnell.

Job well and accurately done, Lawrence. His reference to McCarthyism was spot on.
