BREAKING: The former Sergeant of the Capitol Police drops bombshell, demands the immediate removal from office of Trumper Congresswomen Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert over their role in the deadly January 6 insurrection.

But the former Sergeant didn’t stop there…

The former Capitol Police Sergeant, Aquilino Gonell, who defended the Capitol on January 6, also demanded that Donald Trump himself be indicted for orchestrating the deadly insurrection that sent 138 of his Capitol officers to the hospital — and even led multiple of his officers to commit suicide after their traumatizing experience.

Former Sergeant Gonell resigned from his position as Capitol Police Sergeant last year, putting the blame squarely on “the mob and the people who support the former president." Gonell underwent multiple surgeries and extensive medical rehabilitation in order to recover from the injuries that he sustained on January 6 after becoming trapped in a Capitol tunnel and engaging in some of the most brutal fighting of the day in defense of the Capitol.

Trump, Greene, Boebert did the crime — and now it’s time for them to face the music.

Steve Schmidt on the Importance of Independence Day | The Warning

14,958 views Jul 2, 2023 The Warning
This essay was originally published in today’s edition of Maria Shriver’s Sunday Paper. Maria Shriver is an exceptional human being. She is also supremely talented. There are few people who have the ability to genuinely inspire and lift people up. Sunday Paper captures that spirit. It will never fail to inform, inspire and stir optimism. Our political debates in America are often dark. Our culture often seems rotten. Much of that is illusory. The reality is that there is good all around us. Sunday Paper is good for the spirit. I encourage you to subscribe.

They are loving it, Trump's MAGA. After all of their defeats lately. The loss of the 2018, 2020 and shockingly bad performance in 2022. After their attempted coup was defeated. After a thousand convictions of Jan 6 insurrectionists including the heads of their paramilitary militias. After the DOJ, Manhattan AG and very soon, Fulton County's DA each put cuffs on the wrists of their supreme leader, Trump. After poll after poll showing their hopeless loss of the confidence in the the GOP to lead this country. After the shit shows that members of the Freedom Caucus have been giving this country. After the pitch perfect performance of the Biden administration in economy and international affairs. After all those losses by the GOP for their ineptitude and tone deaf attitudes toward this changing society. Finally they have something to crow about. The Supreme court is rolling back civil rights to before the civil rights act and dipshit archaic troglodytes like Miller have something to crow about.

Let Trump divide them, defeat them in 24 and remove as many of their electoral advantages as you can, then keep them out of power until they die, consume themselves in stupidity or change. This shit with the Trump administration will go on for years and rats will abound, Stephen and others will spend fortunes on lawyers, especially if the democrats win useful majorities in 24. He could be yet ensnared in J6, Jack is just getting going with that and who knows where it will lead.

I could have used any of the emoji’s for this post. Spot on, infuriating, sad and funny, it was all of those things.

They begin a video with Hunter Biden...

Yep, the DOJ is biased towards corruption and crime and the republican party is full of criminal's, domestic terrorists and grifters. This guy was part of that corruption and treason...

Where was he during J6? I seem to recall he was conveniently out of the country at the time...

Did he have foreknowledge?
no idea. Wiki rated him at the time he was in Congress as “the most conservative legislator from Texas” which is saying something. He ran interference for that man on matters like the Russian election probe.

Anything he says is presumptive maga twaddle.

This is a long listen a long conversation between Dr. Ian Corbin and Steve Schmidt regarding the need for liberals to recognize the deeper role they need to step up to in order to make fundamental changes we need make as a country in order to address the inequities that are leading a woefully large number of people into fascism. It's a real conversation that takes place over a little more than an hour. I put on the headphones and cleaned out my chest freezer while listening to it. If anything, listening to it got me through a chore I've been putting off for years, so there is that.

Steve and Ian don't agree on a lot of things but that's what makes this a conversation worth listening to. It's not a debate but a discussion.

Steve is joined by Ian Marcus Corbin, a Harvard based philosopher who recently co-wrote "The Left Needs a Spiritual Renaissance. So Does America" with Senator Chris Murphy. They discuss how America finds itself in a period of decline and what must happen to pull itself out of it.

The following link takes you to the essay that led to Steve contacting Ian. What Ian Corbin and Senator Chris Murphy write about is not Trump but factors that gave us Trump.. Link follows and a brief excerpt that touches on a premise of the essay.

The Republican Party has long branded itself as the party of family values, community, faith, and tradition—and the political coalition that helped Ronald Reagan inaugurate a four-decade neoliberal consensus married pro-business, anti-regulation, supply-side ideology with openly political evangelical Protestantism.

Democrats have differentiated themselves by doubling down on tolerance, separating religion from public life, and reinforcing ostensibly secular, humanist notions of fairness, and justice. Those are important values and worth fighting for, but the left is missing an opportunity to ground this work in a generous, inclusive, galvanizing spiritual vision.

This kind of grounding could help attract many unlikely new partners to the left.

Donald Trump stumbled upon the broad dissatisfaction with neoliberalism, and his attacks on global trade and political conventions lit a fire under disaffected voters who had given up hope that any presidential candidate would ever contest the neoliberal consensus. But Trump’s critique was paper thin, and in the end, he offered no actual vision for a path out of the dog-eat-dog values and imperatives of neoliberalism.

But with few exceptions, the Americans who connected with Trump’s message, even temporarily, are right about a lot of what is wrong. They are hungry for a way out of the frantic competition for a piece of the ever-shrinking pie, and for a world in which our politics promise something more than, as Obama often put it, a “fair shake” at a slice of that pie. Those voters are ripe for recruitment to a new coalition, if the left can be generous and far-sighted enough to invite them in.

This invitation is within our power, if only we will engage in the kind of brave, humble, heart-deep spiritual questioning that has animated so many of our tradition’s greatest achievements.

Of course, people don't camp out to hear Joe Biden, his fans are sane and have brains!

Will they camp outside his prison too and for how long?

If Donald turns on the republicans on his way down, they will be screwed and if he isn't the party nominee, he will attack whoever "cheated" him out of the nomination and "sold them out" as a RINO. Much will depend on how much the prison system silences him and when he will end up inside one.

Donald's base is fanatical and does not care for facts or even indictments, if they stay home or vote for his endorsed candidates the republicans could lose very badly in 24. Donald is on fire and about to explode with an uncertain detonation time and result, he could blow the GOP wide open in 24.

Trump's danger continues: he posts Obama's home address; armed Trump supporter heads to the address

61,023 views Jul 4, 2023 #TeamJustice
Trump's ongoing danger to others continues unabated by federal law enforcement agencies. In a staggering show of disregard for the safety of ANOTHER former president, Trump posted on social media Barrack Obama's home address. A Trump supporter named Taylor Taranto, who was also wanter for participating in the January 6 attack on the US Capitol, reposted Trump's post, armed himself with two guns, 400 rounds of ammunition and a machete, and headed to President's Obama's home. Fortunately, he was arrested as he approached the house.

Trump remains an extreme danger to others. When will law enforcement take appropriate measures to hold him accountable?
