fast question before i buy tomorrow

I wanna buy the seed kit cause i bought my ag on craigslist without pods but i cant find the master gardener one can u just purchase a regular seedkit and swap seeds or?

thats what i did i bought salad greens gotta be careful tho... to make sure u pick out all the seeds =)

i ended up buying salad garden even before i read the post yea i took all the seeds out and have 7 seeds in pods im so excited im going to use the ag lights for a week then im going to add like 3 cfls i planted 7 seeds just incase i get males

you need to do a lot of modifications to make an aerogarden work. good luck, it can be done. there are a lot of texts online to get it up to the level. you are goiung to need timers and should think about tearing off the light that comes with it and use your own. good luck!!! hope this is the begining of a great adventure for ya, we all had to start someplace!!!

I don't use them and never have. I geminate in small rockwool cubes, when they are ready to go in I just trim off the corners with a clean razor and put them in the holes. I have had 100% success with this method, give it a try.

i was germing in rockwool first but it wasnt so great the rockwool was droping into the water im going to be waiting to see how the germ in the ag seed kit will be adding a 150w hps in about 2 weeks im also building a grow cabinet for it this weekend im going to add the air stones and air pump next week as well i wanna get at least 2 oz from this baby but im fine with what ever yield i get

ok i have placed my seeds in with the seed kit and 2 seem to started to sprout i see white coming off the foam ! i will adding some more cfl by the end of next week i wont start nutes for another 2 weeks
