Fem Auto's with seeds

It happens … perhaps there were some stressors in your grow - environment / feed / temps etc.

Autos can be a fickle bunch sometimes. Not end of world . Actually can be a good thing especially if needing to keep strain.

Is this picture of dried weed. It opens up more like this once dried.
Pic was sourced online - someone was wondering what you were thinking and i used that photo to show you that there is an ovule in all calyx and is what a seed would start from.

I self autos for seed stock - i CS lower branches , wait for Female pods to show , clip branches collect pollen and pollinate same plants preflowers to make S1 seeds ( saves me money and i can pheno hunt ).

I usually do this for higher end autos - ethos , mephisto , dutch passion . That way i save the strain and not go hunting for more seeds to buy.

I would just run your grow as long as it takes to harvest - remember breeder estimates are only a guide and not gospel … plant finishes when it finishes regardless what breeder says. Then after harvest then you will see what pans out at end .

Man, I appreciate all your help, so much.
But you are way ahead of my level. I grew a legendary crop in the 80s of seedless herb. Made just enough money to buy an Electra Glide. I had an old timers help.mThen never grew again until 2019. I have had very successful grows. But with femized seeds, I just kept it simple. Now this. Beautiful buds WITH SEEDS. Low expectations. My best weed has not been autos. As a matter of fact, I am considering giving up on autos.

I can not think of any real stress. But I have not had much success with autos. The fact that I have leaf burn from light overkill could be it.
What does CS mean?

So these seeds are worth keeping and growing in the future?
I guess if I am going to have issues with all my autos, why pay $10 per seed.
My killer weed is almost exclusively feminized and not auto. I have tried 6 or 7 types and only White Widow from i49 seed bank has been GREAT.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME....

Burnt tips of the leaves indicates some stress, possibly from feeding.

I would let them finish/mature and give those beans a chance. I ended up with quite a bit of seeds from one of the Mephisto runs, and been growing them out without any herm issues so far. But you have to let them mature, and slow dry as you normally would. Sometimes, getting seeds that you didn't plan for turns out to be a blessing. I'll be growing Mephisto's Canna x Cheese for years to come, and that stuff is sold out now.

No, I used the absolute minimum in nutes. This is light burn, still stress. But I will keep the seeds.

No, they are correct. This is nute burn. Auto's only need around 600-800 ppm when in flower.

It kind of sounds like @gokartsrb was correct with purple chem being hermie prone. They can be really easy to miss.

Since it is nute burn and not to much light, how do you tell the difference. It is on 2 of the 4 plants.
How do you determine the difference?
The sample I took was not very potent, is this because of the fact that it has Seeded all 4 plants?
Would YOU keep the seeds, if it was you?
Just trying to figure out the best way to proceed. The Purple Chem plants are ready to harvest. I am thinking about letting the trichromes turn until many are all are cloudy and brown?? Increase potency.
What do you think.

Sir,
I looked at the trichromes on the Purple Chem, most of them are clear. Some are cloudy, very few are brown. I since I sampled some and it was not very potent. Probable the potency was sucked out of them from producing seeds??? I was considering waiting another week to let more trichromes become cloudy and brown, WHAT DO YOU THINK?
Also how do YOU tell the difference in nute burn and light burn.
Thank You

I would wait to try dried and cured end product, and determine if seeds are worth keeping. If you don't like the smoke/effects, what good is having more of the seeds.

Give more time, seeds can use it to mature. leave them in sacks and dry as usual, you can even cure them, but should be ready to pop after dried.

There was a time when almost all weed had seeds. We have become spoiled, it will get you just as high as seedless. If your selling it most won't be happy because of the added seed weigh.
