Hi...i have a few questions...should i leave lights on 24/7...and can i put them outside, once they have been under lights? They are suppose to be done in 60-70 days
from what i understand the best route to take with autoflowering light cycles is 18/6. as far as moving it out side after starting it inside i have no idea. if anything the longer dark would just slow down flowering. don't know if this is true with autos i've only grown photoperiod. i have my first auto beans coming so i could use any helpful advice foo
I think you just need to be careful when flowering indoors. Outdoors, you should be fine with whatever. But, over-lighting can lead to heat and light stress on the buds.
Give them 18 hours of light or more. Anything less is acceptable, but will reduce your overall yield. I've grown autoflowers twice now and find that 20/4 works pretty darn well.
I run my autos 24/0...unless I have'em alongside some "regulars" on 12/12.....I just do not believe excess stress is caused by TOO much light........hell the little resin factories don't need a break......or a rest........they work better when "fired up" 24/0 IMHO..........
Autos aren't affected by photoperiods...they finish regardless....outside will only reduce the amount of light which will in turn reduce yeild.
listen to me dont listen to what anyone says.. run your autos on 20 on /4 off this is proven to be the best method by all the breeders, u can put them outside, but unless your in summer i would not do it otherwise u will loose a shitload of yeild
