Silver has not been shown to be mutagenic. Source: http://www.epa.gov/iris/subst/0099.htmmy bad grammer has nothing to do with this.
"MetalsMany metals, such as arsenic, chromium, cadmium, silver, nickel and their compounds may be mutagenic, they may however act via different mechanisms.[SUP][22][/SUP] Arsenic, chromium, iron, and nickel may be associated with the production of reactive oxygen species, and some of these may also alter the fidelity of DNA replication. Nickel may also be linked to DNA hypermethylation and histone deacetylation, while cadmium may inhibit DNA mismatch repair.
it is. and im sorry, hes wrong, youre right. i give up.
Adverse health effectsFurther information: Silver and Argyria
According to Lansdown, the risk expected due to clinical exposure to silver is "minimal", as only chronic ingestion or inhalation of silver preparations leads to an accumulation of silver in the human body that can cause argyria, argyrosis (accumulation of silver in the eye), and other conditions.[SUP][12][/SUP] Silver-based products are contraindicated for people who are allergic to silver.[SUP][12][/SUP] The reference dose, published by the United States Environmental Protection Agency in 1991, which recommends the estimated daily exposure that is unlikely to incur an appreciable risk of deleterious effects during a lifetime, is 5 µg/kg/d; meaning 5 micrograms of silver per kilo of weight per person each day – about 1 liter of 10 ppm colloidal silver per month for a 66 kg person.[SUP][16][/SUP] The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine warns that "Colloidal silver is not safe or effective for treating any disease or condition. Colloidal silver can cause serious side effects. The most common is argyria, a bluish-gray discoloration of the skin, which is usually not treatable or reversible."[SUP][1][/SUP]
The chronic intake of silver products and the silver buildup from colloidal silver can result in an accumulation of silver or silver sulfide particles in the hair, skin, kidneys, liver, heart and muscles due to high methionine-containing proteins, such as keratin, myosin, tropomyosin, troponin, and key dipeptide glutathione. Serious neurologic (such as seizures), renal, or hepatic complications, as well as headaches, stomach distress, fatigue, and skin irritation have been reported.[SUP][58][/SUP][SUP][59][/SUP] Colloidal silver can reduce the absorption of some medications, including tetracycline and quinolone antibiotics and can bind to penicillamine, thereby reducing the effectiveness of those medications.[SUP][25][/SUP][SUP][60][/SUP] One death has been reported in the medical literature which the authors felt was due to silver toxicity resulting from repeated oral ingestion of colloidal silver.[SUP][61][/SUP]
As in photography (where silver is used due to its reactivity with light), silver particles in the skin darken with exposure to sunlight, resulting in a blue or gray discoloration of the skin. This condition is known as argyria, which is a dermatological condition characterized by grayish-blue pigmentation of the skin, nails, gums, and deep tissues; and, in similar manner, it can lead to silver in the eye (argyrosis) and in other organs. Argyria can only occur if large doses are ingested over time. [SUP][12][/SUP][SUP][17][/SUP][SUP][25][/SUP][SUP][16][/SUP][SUP][49][/SUP][SUP][62][/SUP][SUP][63][/SUP][SUP][64][/SUP][SUP][65][/SUP][SUP][66][/SUP] Localized argyria can occur as a result of topical use of substances containing silver, while generalized argyria results from the chronic ingestion of such substances.[SUP][58][/SUP] Argyria was long believed to be irreversible,[SUP][52][/SUP] but recently, laser therapy has been used to treat it with satisfactory cosmetic results.[SUP][67][/SUP][SUP][68][/SUP][SUP][69][/SUP] The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) describes argyria as a "cosmetic problem",[SUP][70][/SUP] although some people consider it to be socially debilitating.[SUP][71][/SUP][SUP][72][/SUP]
[edit] Environmental effects
Silver that enters the environment from discarded medical sources can have detrimental effects on micro-organisms and animals (including humans).[SUP][73][/SUP]
umm..that test done by the govt (which i dont fully trust) states that silver is carcinogenic and can cause argyria. and it also tells how they used to use silver arsphenamine to treat syphilis until they realized it was harming people?
thank you for more good info backing me up.
we get silver from eating plants that have grown in the earth and from animals that eat plants that grow in the earth. these levels are normal and cause no harm, but when you start spraying it everywhere, thats unnatural and will cause harm
the creator invented NATURAL selection. theres a reason its so good, and lasts so long till WE fuck it up.
who am i kidding. ill be buying a feminzed seed somewhere in the future (even though its wrong and unethical). that fucking critical + or pineapple chunk X_x
but it is? its not cut with chemicals, not STRETCHED for profit. things that are stretched and cut with chemicals are not only empty nutrition, but they also cause disease.
there are two types of disease. infectious disease, which is naturally, and needed to regulate the flora or biota of a human
and then there are chemical caused diseases, like cancer and most birth defects. feminizing a plant is directly causing a birth defect.
I only "go against" the wildly inaccurate things you say, which is most of what you say. I don't want to start another argument with you that you can not win.if you take a good piece of meat and try and microwave it, itll take awhile to heat up. if you take a huge mc donalds burger and microwave it, itll be scorching hot in 5 seconds. theres a reason for this. the mcdonalds burger is stretched, and empty (althought i do love their $1 mcdoulbe and their angus burger!)
im only speaking the truth, and you just like to go against everything i say
You do not know what a chemical is.my soil has only small amount of chemicals in it. i use a soil with organic matter (soil, woodchips, some minerals that slowly breakdown etc.) along with coco (becuase peat bogs are running low and take forever to grow) and some perlite (another mineral from the earth)
i mix an all purpose compost (i think its chicken poop) bone meal and feather meal fertilizer before i grow and i feed once a month with a 1-1-1 fish emulsion fertlizer
youre right, theres probably some chemicals in the fishes poop, in the chicken poop, in the minerals from the ground, but they are they only cause we dumped them there.
im not talking about the natural organic chemicals we find in the ground like silver that can be found on the periodic table. we require these things in our diet, but we get them in sufficent amounts from the natural auroa of the earth and through our diet. any more or any less is detrimental.
The only way this will become an educational experience, is if you admit how fucking stupid you are and do your best to understand what's been written here.*artifical chemical. but im done. im glad we had this educational experience though.
Dude, you have got to be the dumbest motherfucker i have ever seen. I dont know what else to say.youre a bigger idiot than trouser. trouser know hes wrong, hes just a stubborn sob.
you have no clue what youre talking about. read some of the literature ive put before you
becuase you had an EXCELLENT breeding that setup the perfect enviornment for the plants, none of them were stressed too much, or too little. when we add chemicals, minor stressors make live supersized. thats not normal, we should be able to withstand minor stressors that well encounter in a natural enviornment (wind, hard rain, animals walking through a field and almost knocking them over)Dude, you have got to be the dumbest motherfucker i have ever seen. I dont know what else to say.
I only grow fems, never had a hermie.
No idiot, he just grew plants in a regular environment with the proper nutrients etc. It is not hard to do. Hundreds of thousands of people have done it successfully. Just because you can not provide plants with their basic needs does not mean you should spread lies regarding feminized seeds.becuase you had an EXCELLENT breeding that setup the perfect enviornment for the plants, none of them were stressed too much, or too little.
I am amazed you can actually read.when we add chemicals, minor stressors make live supersized.
It is very normal. Cannabis in the wild is often subjected to environmental stress which causes the plant to produce male flowers without a Y chromosome. It occurs naturally, in nature.thats not normal, we should be able to withstand minor stressors that well encounter in a natural enviornment (wind, hard rain, animals walking through a field and almost knocking them over)
No, you are wrong and try to stay on the subject.the enviornment used to be more calm
You are a moron. What does that have to do with fem seeds?but now that there are so many chemicals in the air theres a lot of distruptions and instabilites.
You are a moron. What does that have to do with fem seeds? You do not use "large amounts" to turn a plant.minerals do the same thing if they get into your body in large amounts.
You do not know what the word "chemical" means. You are a moron. Can you explain how it is not good?theyre chemical, theyre a heavy metal as well though..so its not good.
We are talking about plants, moron. I am not ingesting the colloidal silver.its hard and takes long for the body to circulate the particles and filter them out (ouch). luckily this is a bit different though. they usually cause poisioning.
Why, because you are so wildly incorrect? GFY.i may try and get this thread deleted
Another attempt since all of your other arguments are bullshit?hermie = male and female
A female plant will have two X chromosomes. "XX"female = female
(male+female)(female)
=malefemale (hermie)
=femalefemale (female)
its a bit more difficult than that because each chromosome is a pair, but its the idea
I am amzed that you can breath, much less grow a plant.a male female gene pool would be 50%50% percent chance. and this too is decided by enviornment, when the seedling is growing at its earliest stage i guess. but then again, i fucked my plants up a lot, with chemical vigoro too and they didnt turn male on me.
