First attempt at cloning

If you were spraying it and could see the bottom of the root riot then you were touching it. You opened the propagator and picked it up. Glad to hear you got it to start rooting though.
Nope it wasn't on the bottom it was on the side at the bottom and I can see down the sides. I'm gonna try this air layering thing next time

I don't mess with it and last night was the only time I peeked and it was like an ⅛" if that where the stem meets the rapid rooter down from top. If I didn't see anything I wouldn't have pulled on it or anything.
I can't believe you had to explain that, anyone using rapid rooters knows exactly what you meant, I rarely use them and even I knew what you meant.

So what about light? I'm putting in dwc now and wondering if I should keep it under the same level light as it has been or can it take more?
Yes I would increase the light gradually, going from clone to flower I like to put them under a 250mh or a 240w board asap to get them growing if I'm not in a hurry they get left under T5s until flowering.

Yes I would, when I see roots that's when I add a weak nutrient solution 0.6-7ec
Last wednesday while I was putting my clone in the net pot I gave it a good once over just looking at root development. It had what I think was a good cluster of roots coming out of the rapid rooter on all sides and just a couple little ones poking out the bottom. Well today I have at least 2 poking out the bottom of the net pot.(yaaaaaaay) that's about an inch a day growing through the hydroton. Seems like it's going so far so good..
So when it starts growing good does it just start growing from the exsiting top? Do I do any kind of trimming or it will just start doing its thing? Sorry for the noob questions but I'm technically still a noob in general (I guess, no one has graduated me lol) but super old for cloning. Thanks for all the advice guys. seriously!! 20220307_221808.jpg20220307_223636.jpg

Very nice, well done!
The top is just like a seeded plant it'll do its thing but you can trim it, top it as you would with your regular plants.

OK. I kinda thought so but wasn't 100%. I'll wait a couple weeks or till it's vigorously vegging b4 I do anything to it. Shouldn't the be long though. Once them roots hit that rez it's usually on lol

Of topic but curious since I know nothing about breeding. what do you think @DrOgkush about the purple afghani kush s1? What is S1? Is it a good strain?
S1 means it was self pollinated. Female pollen was taken from the a female plant and that pollen was used to pollinate herself. So whoever bred that Afghani wanted to preserve that pheno by selfing it. Strain is great. But because it’s widely produced. It really depends on the breeder you got them from.
Afghani is one my favorite by far!

Came from @Barry's Natural Farms and something to do with mz jill genetics. I'm hoping it's indica dom. I gave away my chocolope cause I don't have the height for sativa dom.
