First CFL grow just started need tutors

Nice grow man, ill get some more splitters tomorrow and throw some of my 6500k lights in there too. My plants are lovin the new pots and im going to start them on tiger bloom next watering
 
well i'm noticing three things; first your plants need the spectrum that the2700's are able to produce, so if you add 6500's the only thing it will help is by adding lumens. these however are not the right specrum so your plant will not really respond to them. your better off giving it more of what it wants. they are females you know.

second whats up with the splitting, doing this will cause low initial amps. thus ruining your lights future potential. buy a surge protector for 30 dollars. i run up to 10 lights off just 1 or 2 protectors.

last your plants look great from what i can see so if you add more lumens now your plant will grow faster causing imballences (more production in different parts of the plant) in the stalk and the buds will be loose from the stalk and not as dense. not trying to bum you out cause it looks like a set up she likes.

Adding 2700's and 6500's lights together actually helps the plants grow while in flower. Did this numersous times with great results.
With splitting the lights will put out he lumens it is supposed to put out low amps or not. If it gets to low it flips a breaker (which it never has) has the spiltting is fine. Its easier to run 2 light bars together and not throw a breaker. And yes I have a surge protector(not my first rodeo).
 
sounds like you know everything. good luck then, all i'm saying is both are scientifically proven multiple times as well. with published results.
 
someone published scientific results on light splitters restricting amps?:-|

Thanks for the advice but my lights are on a surge protector just the sockets have splitters and i really dont think how minute the loss of amps could be is worth wiring every bulb seperately.
 
Your plants are looking awesome. Seems you are doing just about everything right. More pics soon please? :weed:
 
sorry guys my cell phone broke thats why i havent been able to get you pictures.

My plants are now 6 days into flowering
My ATF plant is 10 inches tall by about 11 inches wide
My unkown plant is 12 inches tall and since being topped is growing amazing with what to the naked eye is 4 tops on the plant
My plant that was only vegged for 3 weeks is 7 inches tall

Ill get ahold of my brothers camera and get some pics soon
