I think it was calcium def; the epsom salt seemed to help, but I'm changing out the water today, so hopefully everything will clear up. I'll post more pics tomorrow.

They're recovered a bit. I trimmed off some of the pineapple chunk's leaves because they were about 60% dead. I read somewhere that if they're over 50% dead to cut them off. Is that right?

Yeah that's a good practice to trim off the dead/near dead stuff.

Yea, it really does. Do any of you guys know about foliar feeding? Is it worth it? Are my plants too young? If not, do I just put the same nutes in the spray as I would in the bucket?

I don't know much about foliar feeding other than it's supposed to make your nutes last longer. Couldnt tell you if the solution is the same or if you dilute it. Check out this thread, might help youout some:

I got my own office, I blew 5 bills on a sweet new bong, and I got a promotion so now I can post on here without any nosy bitches looking over my shoulder and I kicked my skanky gf out for cheating, but I think that's good because I caught her stealing bud and fucking with my plants. Maybe that's what was wrong w/ them... Anyways, I was wondering how long you guys would recommend vegging these girls? I was planning on 4 weeks, they're at 2 weeks today. Will that be enough for a scrog that's about 9" off the top of the bucket if they're about 6" above the bucket now? And if a hypothetical grower's hypothetical girlfriend called the 5-O on him, would they actually use resources to investigate word of mouth?

Congrats on the promotion at work! Sorry about the ex-girl, some bitches just be crazy. Hope she doesnt call the cops, that would suck. I think it depends how the police would respond on where you live, in a big city doubt it, but in a small town where the cops don't have anything other to do, I'd be careful. Hopefully youre in a medical state and have a dr's rec. 4 weeks should be enough veg time, but cant say for sure since I haven't seen their rates of growth really.

Well I foliar feed constantly, every morning and everynight. I see it helps growth alot during veg. I experimented on my plants, some got foliar feeding the others didnt. The foliar feed ones had much much greener leaves and bigger growth. That sucks to hear about that stank ho of a gf. Cant trust them, until you marry one then you can trust for a little bit. Hopefully shes not the revengeful type and tell the pigs about your grow. If she knows people in law enforcement, then they would be able to escalate it, so something could be done.

I am not, but I'm seriously considering moving to Colorado next year around tax return time. If I could blaze and snow ski all day then come home to my babies without worrying about the law, I'd be a peachy motherfucker.

So over the weekend I decided to start foliar spraying with Canna Boost every 3 days and I added my 1000w HPS to my room which blew out my UPS power supply. I had to get an extension cord to run from my living room so that I could divide the amps up between the rooms and if you don't buy a heavy duty cord, you'll melt it and burn down your house... I realized the xtnsn cord was getting a little warm so I went to Lowe's 5 mins away and when I got back w/ my heavy duty cord, it was melted to my carpet. I've only used the LED and I figured having my 635 cfm fan running 24/7 through the hood with the glass cover would be plenty to cool it down. Well, I was wrong. I had to put a portable A/C unit in there and cut a hole in the room for exhaust which turned my bedroom into a sauna... I engineered some crazy shit and everything is peachy except for my humidity. The A/C brought it wayyyyy down so I bought a big-ass humidifier that runs 24/7 and I still cant get it above 16%. What happens if your humidity is too low? My LEDs are now hanging down and I'm using them as side lighting. Hanging them provides a natural, perfect angle of about 10 degrees. I would take pictures, but the light is now so intense that my camera wont even work, lol. So, instead, I posted some of my new piece (the smaller couch bong) and my all time favorite bong with the disk percs. I also have a quadruple disk perc ash catcher to go with it, but it has holes instead of slits like the bong. The little one hits incredibly smooth. Its comparable to the big one and I have a tube with a 24 arm tree and an 11 arm tree ashcatcher and I definitely think the syn hits smoother.

I found out my humidity gauge was broken and last evening I turned off the HPS for a couple minutes to take these pictures. I don't think I'll do that again until flowering in 2-6 weeks, depending on how fast they grow. They've been in the DWCs for exactly 2 weeks when these were taken. I've decided not to scrog them this go around. I've taken enough risks for my first time and I don't want to mess things up. I also was going to start germinating a couple autoflowering strains, Northern Lights Blue & La Diva, but I accidentally dropped the La Diva seed in the carpet and I will never find it because I lost it somewhere between the couch and bedroom. NL Blue has a tail after 14 hrs and goes into the peat plug on my lunch break here in a couple minutes.

I forgot to mention I bought an RO filter that brings my ppm down to 0 every time. Imo, it's an incredibly advantageous investment that I would recommend to everyone.

Looking great gargantuanganja! Where/what kind of RO filter did you go with? I don't know much about them yet, except that I know that I want one! I am growing in waterfarms, and I am filtering my tap water through Brita filters (gets it down to like 110 ppm). But this is like 1-2 gallons a day during flowering, and I don't like how the ppm can build up over a week of doing this... Even bottled water is reading like 50 ppm for me... so yea I'm about to the point where I wanna look at purchasing an RO system... Thanks!

Thats a bummer...I grew la diva outdoors last year and it was amazing. A blueberry/cheese/skunk taste and smell. Pretty potent too.

Thanks! I'm not sure what brand it is, but I got it from Texas Hydroponics. I think it's their own brand of RO, just like their brand of the cool flame co2 generator. It was like $180, but it gets the ppm down to 0 every time. The only drawback is that it has a maximum output of 100 gallons/day which takes like 45 minutes to fill a 5gal bucket.
