Thanks! I'm not sure what brand it is, but I got it from Texas Hydroponics. I think it's their own brand of RO, just like their brand of the cool flame co2 generator. It was like $180, but it gets the ppm down to 0 every time. The only drawback is that it has a maximum output of 100 gallons/day which takes like 45 minutes to fill a 5gal bucket.
cool, thanks for the info!

I learn a new valuable lesson in growing at least once a week... This weeks lesson is to never mix nutrients after getting stoned. This past week everything has been at half nutes because I fucked up the math. I'm really hoping this week will be better. Post new pics soon.

These are my ladies @ 3 weeks. One more week till' 12/12!! I have to turn the HPS off or it's too bright for my camera to take pics. It makes these crazy lines. I quit with the foliar spray because my lights are on 24/7 during veg and even @ 1/8 strength, the Canna Boost burned tiny little spots into my leaves. Won't be doing that again. I'm gonna use the solution to foliar spray my shrubs outside my apt :). Only the ones on the left, though. I'll be sure to note how that's working out.

Yes, sir. I need all the advice I can get on a soil grow. My next grow is going to be some real colombian gold landrace sativas. These wonderful ladies took me FOREVER to find and are going to take 14-18 weeks to flower plus 8 weeks of veg. That's way too much maintenance for a hydro grow, imo. What would you recommend for soil? I want to do a purely organic soil grow this next go-around.

insane plants man, how do you grow them so bushy? is it just from having so many light sources or did you top it?

Look forwards to more updates!

Thanks, I think it's a combination of both. I topped all of them at the 4th node except for the Exile (the smallest one in the back left) because I wanted to give her a chance to catch up a little. I've also started growing a northern lights x blueberry autoflowering strain. I'm going to put her under a 90w UFO in a seperate closet, but until I get it, I'll be vegging her under a 23w florescent bulb (she's in the room with everyone else right now). I'm thinking about putting her in soil to compare. What do you guys think? I'm also debating on what would be the best light to use. I'm thinking either the Penetrator 84x-Pro, The Illuminator, the GrowUFO, the 6-band full-cycle Lighthouse Hydro 90w UFO, or possibly even the 180w spectra. Let me know what you guys think/want to see and I'll make the purchase and post the results. 48 hours until 12/12!!

out of those you listed, i'd like to see the 84x-pro.

I agree. That's my first choice, but I'm already debating as to whether I should buy the 84x-pro for the northern lights blue or if I should buy two of these http://uvp.com/xxseries.html (xx-15m), which produce a UVB wavelength of 302nm, and putting them adjacent to my HPS to see how they affect my main ladies. Supposedly, UVB rays cause the plant to protect itself by producing more resin. Hmmm..... What to do, what to do... Any thoughts on this? Oh, and I'm not limiting it to the choices above. If there's a UV light or LED you would like to see me use, please let it be known. Thanks

Sorry it took so long, I had to do some serious readjusting in my room.

The ladies @ 4 weeks/28 days/last day of veg. I managed to get a couple pics as the HPS was heating up. When it's at full strength, it makes those lines.

MONSTER - This crazy bitch is growing almost completely laterally. I think it's good, though. This morning she shows signs of dozens of bud sites.

THE GARDEN - Those are all from yesterday morning and this is everyone this morning after their first dark period. I switched the spectrum on my 357 Magnums and put the girls on 850 ppm of Connoisseur A&B, Bud Candy & Piranha. They all produced 1/4" hairs @ the bud sites and the smell increased by at least 50%. I know I need to move my light higher. I will do that tomorrow. I also think I'm going to put my LEDs adjacent to the HPS instead of using them as side lighting.

And last, but hopefully not least, is the Northern Lights x Blueberry (autoflower) seedling. I put her in a well rinsed "Simply Orange" orange juice container because I thought it would be a good idea but it caused some fuzz to grow on the pod leaves. I went ahead and just amputated the infected area and I made her home less enclosed. I'm thinking about putting her in a 3.5g soil pot and hitting her with either an Illuminator or the Penetrator 84x-pro, depending on how my funds are looking. I found a bubble bag system with 8 bags for $100 and I couldn't pass that up. I'm excited. Anyways, if there's anything special you guys would like to see me try with this new lady, let me know.

Why, thank you! Is there anything I should know about flowering that's different from veg other than the nutes & photoperiods? I stopped the CO2 because I heard it affects the potency, but other than that, nothing's changed. I really don't want to fuck this up and from what I understand, anyone can veg a plant, flowering is supposed to be the more difficult/important phase.

I changed the set up a bit. I put the mags above @ an angle instead of using them as side lighting. Oh, and the shrubs I started foliar spraying didn't do too good. They turned yellow so I stopped. Please excuse my poor quality phone pics.

I spoke to the people selling the Magnum LED's and they say not to use as side or under lighting as the spectrum will cause the leaves to flip somehow

This is the last post I'll be making with shitty cell phone pics!! I finally got an SD card reader for my camera. Anyways, these are the ladies @ 5 weeks from transplant/7 weeks from seed (I really fucked up mah poor seedlings)/1 week into flowering.

P.S. As you can see in Pineapple Chunk's pic, my humidity is around 52% during the day and it gets up to 64% @ night time. Is that going to be too much for flowering?

Yea, it really does. Do any of you guys know about foliar feeding? Is it worth it? Are my plants too young? If not, do I just put the same nutes in the spray as I would in the bucket?
foliage feeding is great it well make your plants look lush and healthy i use the RECIPE FOR SUCCESS KITMADE BY TECHNAFLORA I makes thrive alive B-1 green and Magical makes those in my misting bottle and use that two times a day every other day work every well for me!!! JB

flowering is no harder than veggin.. if your garden is pest free when you flip 12/12 and if you got the gadgets needed to control the environment, no worries, youll get there, you have the lights!!

Thanks! You made my day. I was pretty worried this morning because I still haven't seen any bud growth and I'm @ 12 days into flowering. All I see are stipels at this point, no pistils, and I haven't looked that hard, but I doubt they're there.

I have a question for soil growers. I bought a flexible air stone/hose ---->View attachment 2048540and my plan is to coil it up in the soil from the bottom and attach it to an air pump. Is there any reason I shouldn't do that?

I also bought this mutha fucka for UVB rays ----> http://www.cureuv.com/uva-and-uvb-flood-bulb-for-plant-growth.html

Seems pretty legit, but it's harder than a dick in adriana lima to find the fkin microwattage of ANY uvb bulb that isn't made for fkin lizards. I ended up playing the obnoxious "idk but you can call this guy" game all damn day until I found a dude in Canada that might know the answer and if he can find the info, he'll send it to me. I'll let you guys know what's up if I find out.
