I feed miracle grow succulant plant food and tap water first 3weeks. From there ive been feeding mexican bat guano 10 1 1 slushy. one cup per gallon water. Are they big enough for 6 weeks. Should i flower now because i dont want them taller than 2 feet. Whats a possible yeild for me all estimates would be appreciated. first pic is reg second pic exotic

about a pound bongsmilie

on a serious note,

they look kinda short but as the strains are unknown this could be genetic, as a beginner you should focus on the basic N-P-K nutrients that your plant need, organic is a lot to get wrong. miracle grow is most likely doing you more harm also. 80watt cfl should be fine for plants these small, regardless of light spectrum. now would be a good time to invest on maybe a growth through bloom nutrient formula. Im currently looking at Medi One 4.3.3 formula which is organic, and im hoping to replace my buisy nutrient schedule with this.

Light Schedule?

Hiya S88, You say Six weeks in from bean? What Size Pot have you got them in? and like jb4 said "how far is your light away?" 80w is not a lot of light by-tha-bye..You probably only just giving em 5000L, which would probably just about be Ok for One(depends) How do you have the Bulb? Horizontally OR Vertically? Horizontal would give you a better spread, and You want to get the bulb about 2-3 inches from Tops of Ladies..do you have a reflector on said Bulb??

STOP with the Feed by the way...IF they are as small as they look in pictures...they don't need..

You are far off Flowering tbh, have you checked tha Root Development...? this is mine at 3 weeks from bean..

And I'm not expert on this, well on anything really...LoL! Hope You managed to sort and revitalise...

Edit; Nearly forgot..OOps what are your Grow Room/Cupboard conditions like? Temps? Humidity? and Air-flow? got any fans blowing Air around...

those are 6 weeks old? damn mam somethings not right. how far is your light away? also i wouldnt feed until the coty leaves fall off or die
the lights were maybe 5 or 6 inches away. I have to 150 watt equivalent which is actually 33 watts each. And a 14 watt bulb. Now that they are closer to the light within a inch they are growing faster. i have them in peat jiffy cups. The exotic is 8 inches with the 5th top coming in. The reg is 5 inches. They look bigger in person

TBH, I think your over worrying, it takes a while for a plant to grow from seed, as we speak its busy making loads of little highways and fast food networks, its socialising with its surrounding, also to note... on average I've noticed cfl's add 2 weeks onto my pre veg times.

I'd cut the top of that milk jug off. Pots are super cheap dude.

Looks ok from here.
Agreed.

- I would line that box with an aluminium foil and make a pitched roof shape reflector for the top aswell

2x 20w cfl's hang inside the box (they've been lifted out for camera purposes)

T88, its ALL WRONG! First and foremost... The object is to start your seeds in either 2" or 4" pots so that your plants DEVELOPE STRONG root systems. Start your seeds in a SEED STARTER SOIL MIX. # At the sprouting of the seedling, you at least want to start off with double the amount of lights per plant... In other words you need 5-10,000lumens which would be about 5-8 CFLs at at about 23w, 26w, 32w, etc. That way you can position them either around or between the plants. # Note: Seedlings dont really need NUTRIENTS for the first 21-28 days. The SEED STARTER has proper amount of NUTES already thus TAP WATER has some nutrients that will help keep your plants healthy. Now the bat guano... Did you read the DIRECTIONS because you made me have to double check my own knowledge..lol But you USED A CUP of NITROGEN for your plants. That was by far the WORST MISTAKE a grower can make. There are MANY but that took the birthday cake and hit you in the face with it. NEVER use a CUP of NITROGEN for your plant. This EXPLAINS your STUNTED plants and the YELLOW COLORATION. You wont see a yeild with them in the PROPER AMOUNT of TIME. Those are EQUIVALENT to 1 WEEK and your plants are 6weeks new. Yikes. You didnt do your HOMEWORK. You DID NOT STUDY. It's OK though because WE ALL do something crazy... I spent two months with a plant that had 5 leaves. My wife and I CRACKED up. I still got the piv in my journal. All you need to do is start you some more seeds and we can go through it together and we can get you all the way together. These are my plants at 32 DAYS from seed. They went through some stress today because I had to clean and my 4 splitter decided to act up on me and they had to sit out for a second. Thus I just watered them. They like dry warm air with not much water weighing them down.... You can also CHECK OUT my New Grow thread. Youll like it and you can get knowledge. Unlike most I tell everything I do. Peace and youll get it right. Also i use 10-3-1 B.G. 1/4 strength.IMG_20150317_162207.jpg IMG_20150317_162924.jpg IMG_20150317_170235.jpg IMG_20150317_170409.jpg IMG_20150317_170409.jpg

It just dawned on me the odds: you use MG plant food which is Nutes. BG which is Nutes. And Tap Water which is Nutes. And them babies is still standing. Thats uh... something...

what i would is not be concerned with bat guano. I know you dont want to feel like youve waisted time but its best that you found out. Start a few more seeds so yiu can learn the difference. Dont cast them plants out but flush them until you begin seeing clear and just let them dry out70% before you water them again. What i want you to do is READ my NEW GROW thread its got what you need. Even look at the DYING PLANT laying down and see how i brought her back to life. Shes the plant in the very fron of the pics.

It would depend on the form whether powder or liquid. I never have a problem with tap because i mix with it... And you guys on this thread have great ambition and the tenacity to help except the negative comment. Just different knowledge from different situations of being new growers like myself. So we all can do it together. Im still learning myself.
