first grow atempt

i have a small box with cfl's and i was planning on buying some autoflower white dwarf feminized seeds from drchronic.com. i was also going to buy the fox farm nute trio and fox farm ocean forrest potting soil. would it work with that soil? and would i need the nute trio? or am i goin to waste money? i read that the trio will overpower a autoflower plant. anything else about autoflowering you can tell me that i might need to know will help. Thank you everyone.

Yea the nute trio will work with the FFOC soil. Thats the best soil right now for your buck. You don't NEED the nute trio but its nice to have. But for auto flowers I can't help you to much with that.

i would post pics of the box but i plan i getting a new bigger on. its just a cardboard box spray painted white on the inside. and holes cut in the top so i can hang and adjust the lights. and multiple holes so i can move the lights around.


the box i have now is growing a little regs seed i found in my room. it was just a test to see if something would grow. but it was in miracle grow potting soil, and being new to growing i didnt think pH was important. a the plant is growing, but i dont think it will last.

You have to have a little more confidence. There are many things you can do to a plant that will still get you a decent amount of bud in the end man. If you think it wont last then it wont because you have already focused on it dieing.

my confidence is not an issue. im still taking care of it. just im not paying attention to pH. its a week into the grow and the plant is like 2 or 3 inches tall. but the end of some of the leaves are browning already so im not counting on it. and it doesnt get to hot in the box. i have not tested the temp.
