there might b dif brands that make epsom

from my experence, and by that i mean that i will not go into my attic in the summer, it is WAY to freakin hot in an attic to grow weed up there unless you get an ac or something runing up there but thats just more electricity. i think your 400 w will do you fine untill the plants get bigger if you want to save your mone for a bit

o also in your first batch of pics i saw one that looks a little mutated

i wouldnt have used nutes so early
I knew I would have problems with the heat before I even started it, bit there isn't anywhere else to grow them.
Yea, I know my 400 will do for now, but I will need a 600 eventually. I can get a ballast that runs MH + HPS, reflector, and dual bulb for £75 from ebay, so I'm going to get it while I can.

I waited 2 weeks before I gave them their first feed at half strength, I could have waited longer, but they were so pale I was worried. They weren't getting any N from anywhere.
Plus, I think the heat is stunting the growth, and I figured that some feed might help it out.

im a noob grower my baby is 6-7 weeks old and they still look tiny with no growth in 7-8 days im in the uk and growing them outside should they b bigger than 4 inches
I'm a noob grower in the UK too. I also have some outside plants. My plants are only about 2.5 weeks old and I think they're about 4" in height.
So my guess would be yes, they should be bigger after 7 weeks.

So, they have been flushed, epsom salted, and the light has been raised about 4 ".
That should take care of nute burn, N deficiency, and heat stress.

Try to post pics tomorrow.

I just checked on my girls, and there's a new plant sprouting up in one of the pots!
How is that even possible? It didn't come from a seed. Could it be the seed casings? When they came off I just left them in the coco, I figured that they'd be good for the plant. I tried to trace the root down to find out where exactly it sprouted from, but I got about 4 "and stopped because I'm worried about damaging the roots of the main plant.

Anybody seen this before?

is it a pot plant? lets see a picture
I can't post a pic, because I've lost the cable that connects the camera to the pc.

I don't know what you're going to get from a pic in this instance anyway. It just looks like a fresh seedling.

he knows whats good.

i wanted to see if it had cotyledons and spiky leafs or if it or if it was a random (not marijuana) weed that was from a seed in your soil

Too soon to tell. It broke through the soil hours before I made the post. So all that is there so far is a stalk, and leaves that haven't opened up yet. Just like a seedling.
I traced the root so far and it seems to be coming from the very centre of the pot. Could it come from the tap root of the main plant?

i dont think its possible to for a plant to grow offspring out of its root system, more likely some other kind of weed that already had its seed in your soil, if not you have a serious case study on your hands
