First Grow - Barney's Farm LSD (Scrog)

i'm at day 57 in flowering with the lsd and am pleased with the grow. plants stretched 150% when flipped which was amazing as i was becoming disapointed with them, sure hope they smoke as good as they look nice big frosty buds. yield should be good. good luck with your grow.

Hey, everyone!!!
Well, it seems RollItUp seems to be going through some shit, eh? I hope I didn't lose all these last few weeks' posts. Oh well, progress cannot be stopped, and I'm ready to show some new photos, and I'm in need of some advice from you guys. The grow is going well here, and I'm finally getting to manipulate my plants below my screen. My only real question is... when should I start flowering? I know I'm looking for about a 60% screen fill to accommodate the stretch, according to other members' posts. They still seem a bit small to me, but maybe I'm just underestimating the stretch. I've never grown before, let alone try growing with the screen, so any help would be appreciated guys. On now... the photos!

Sorry no advice here.. I bought the material to do my first ScrOG .. will but got lazy and flipped after doing some simple LST :D

I would think that once you've got a few apical sites through the screen it is safe to flip to 12/12 but I'm not experienced..

They look pretty small for 60 days in veg.
i guess that's what you get with CFL, mine were about 2.5 times higher after a month in veg

Can't you lower the light? it looks a bit high.
Other than the speed issue they look great...!!!

I definitely burned them early in their life and I think I stunted their growth in doing so. I feel they have been slow growing, for sure. I think I'll try for a few more tips to get through and then send them on their way. Lights are as low as I can get them for now, yeah. When the lights change they'll switch to the HPS, and hopefully they'll really take off then. Thanks for the replies, guys!

Hey, guys!
Glad to say that I've switched over to the 430w HPS, turned the lights down to 12 hours, and am underway into my first flower cycle! It's very exciting, I must say. I'm in day 3, with hopefully 60 days to go. My screen has been filling nicely and I continue tucking down tips everyday. I'm hoping the stretch should hopefully fill my screen now. Anyways... let's throw up some pics and see what you all have to say, eh? Thanks for subbing in, everyone!!!

Thanks, crackbaby... hahaha. I'm definitely excited. It will be REALLY great when I can chill out on the pruning and training too, though. Maybe another 2 weeks. Also, I know they're feminized seeds, but I'd love to see them calyxes and pistils popping out.

Hey guys... thought I'd throw on some new pics. Just been over a week now since switching to flower. The screen is still filling nicely! Hoping to have it filled in a week, hopefully. Good call on when to switch, everyone. Thanks for the advice! Also, on one plant, I have started seeing some female calyx/pistils coming out!!! The other, not yet, but I'm still very confident they'll show over the next couple days. Wish I could've got a good picture of the pistils, but my camera just can't get that close. You'll see more soon. On with the photos!

It's day 14 of flower, y'all!!! Shit is getting exciting. I have female flowers on both plants now. Just small, but it's still a wicked relief when growing from seed and in a scrog. Can you imagine the dissapointment if one or worse, both, had hermied or gone male? Pulling it all out of the screen would be devastating. But alas... it's the end of week 2, and tomorrow I'll be making a reservoir change and will switch to my bloom nutrients as per instruction from the canna schedule. My screen is almost completely full! The screen's corners are really the only unfilled area. It has stretched a lot, for sure, and again am glad I switched when everyone suggested. I have tons of little apical tips through the screen now. I'll run down now and take some pictures. Maybe I can get some pics of those little calyxes. Peace! Thanks for all the continued interest and support!

Here you can see a great example of a young pistil. You can even see its little baby trichomes! Cute... smoke ya soon, pal.

Well guys, it's the end of week 3. Only 6 more to go. It's been an exciting week, as what was once a hard to capture pistil in a photo, has become an excellent looking bud! Bud is showing up all over the canopy, and I couldn't be happier! Who said scrogging would be hard? Let this be a lesson... do your research and don't be intimidated. Scrogging is not an impossible undertaking, and I can see VERY EASILY the benefits. BUD EVERYWHERE!!! I'm PILING the Canna Boost to the girls, and they are loving their feed right now. Took a couple photos for you guys to see. They don't give it justice... (you know what those HPS lights do to photos) Enjoy!

You are just ahead of me, just set my screen and did a little more fim'ing and topping to fill them in. Going to be a joy watching your progress, and following along, right behind you!
