First Grow!! -Beginner- Feedback Apprec.

Check my journal and see how easily you can grow nice buds in a tent ;)
And those are actually becoming really cheap compared to couple of years ago.

I know man tell me about it. I lucked out cause I got mine on ebay, and I did the minimum bid and won :D.

And awesome plants man. I am in my 3rd day of Veggin under better lights, I am so addicted I can just sit and stare at them!

those things are new so they are just popping out of the ground, no big deal

They should straighten out in a few days and start heading to the light and standing up right

That light will be good for a few weeks but you are going to need something more heavy duty to get them to flower

But you are still at a month or so a way so start saving

this is exactly what i was just wondering about, cause my first plant just sprouted and is doing the same thing right now.

Here are the most recent pics of my babies :]

I'm at the stage of deciding if I want to do any training? LST/Super cropping .

It is my first grow so I'm a bit hesitant. I'm also considering getting a 400w HPS for a better end product .

Did have some more questions if anyone would care to chime in .. !

The reddening of the roots ( I notice some are very green and others are red and hairy?. Is this due to stress?

I try to keep the temps between 72-80 degress. The highest it has gone is 82. But since then I have made an intake system for cool air.

Also if you have any Comments/Suggestions/Tips (Greatly Appreciated :D )

Time for a bowl of my new Orange Kush :D

Here's a pic of that (not grown by me)

Put it in your closet. Growing under a sink is a bad idea, Due to its a sink, Lol. This light looks pretty good if your looking toward updating, And it's in your price range. http://cgi.ebay.com/400-watt-Electr...in_0?hash=item4ceb247835&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

People grow pretty dank in tents, But people grow very well indoors too. If you do what everyone says, You're yield will be great :)

Well I moved them from under my sink lol, so now they are in my tent (two of them) I've had them on an 18-6 schedule, I think I'm gonna gradually increase light(sound like a good idea?) So I'll have there sched be 20-4 continuing and maybe even make it like 21-3 for maximum growth.

So ya I think I will get the light from these guys then, its very reasonable. www.gyosupplies.com

So , from the pics, is it too early? too late to do any FIMing or topping / supercropping?

So I am unsure if there are pre signs of sex (I havent switched to 12/12 yet) I'm also curious do I have to buy more bulbs for flowering, or can I use the ones I have (6 5000k CFL's (1,500 Lumens each) .

I hear 2700 for flowering.

I'm also working on dispersing light a little better. As this is my first grow I've been doing a lot of reading but each person does it differently.

Is having the lights only above decreasing yield? and what are some methods to get lights where you want them lol.. I do have clamps. (x2)

Kind of limited on space though.

Here are some pics.

I'm not sure if what I'm seeing is male preflowers or what, but its gettin kinda bulky/bally in the armpits of the branches.

I'm also unsure of which nutes to get and when to start them.

15 more minutes till blunt sesh!

any feedback? Help a beginner out :] . I have no clue if I am doing this right, just been going along with this book ' the cannabis growers bible ' by jorge cervantes. I also have to admit I have not been thorough or routine with the light schedule in the times, but as for the length I always make sure they get at least 12 hours or more of darkness/light. Still have not added any nutes at all, but was hoping to get Fox Farm - Tiger Bloom . But what about Super Thrive? Anyone ever heard or used this, any comments/reccommendations?

About to get some flowering pics once the lights are back on! I think its been about a week since start of flowering. Also in the process of getting Tiger Bloom. Is it ok to start nutes during flowering?

Week 1 and about 4 days of flowering.

I believe both are confirmed females.

Heres a sneak peak I'll get the rest when I'm off work.

Hope ya'll like :}

So, found 3 seeds out of a sack, and all 3 are FEMALES :D! woot woot! I've been told I have a green thumb as well.

For all you new viewers a little recap.

Setup

2 x Chemdog 91 I believe.
6x1,500 lumens out put
3x2x5'4 tent

Ingredients used :

Veg : Jobes Tomato spikes (has NPK (minimal though) ;] )

Flower : FoxFarm Tiger Bloom

Veg Time : 1 month 2 days Ended on 10/07

Started 12/12 cycle next day.

Oh, and I have one other female under my sink doing an experiment on conditions. Started flowering at same time.

Using 2 (1,500 lumens) srry cant remember wattage right now.

Also I havent switched my bulbs, so they are still 5500K. Would it be better to switch down to 2700k?

Hope you like the pictures! :leaf:bongsmiliebongsmilie:eyesmoke:
