im using the same thing right now...i ordered it right off their site...got more then ill need for $16 for both shipping and all...its working great for me.it does lack in Mag and Cal...but easy fix for that.1 tbls of epsom salt per gallon...crush up eggshells add it to the water...that takes care of the things its missing...and toss in some molasses...keep an eye on the ph and the plants seem to take off

Your buds look delicious. You are doing well with your first grow. I am getting excited just know I will flower starting Saturday. I agree, my second grow will be dominant. Actually, I already germinated a seed and it's just three or four says out of the soil. It's my male insurance for the two i currently have in my box.
Speaking of nutes, I have yet to start adding nutes in my water, but I know I should start soon. My plants look very lush and green so i know they are doing well now. I purchased the ff nutes. I hear these are base nutes and I should consider adding extra nutes like molasses and such.
Why do you add epsom salt?

the egg shells wont dissolve in the water so will the water absorb the nutes it needs from the egg shells?

Egg shells won't actually get broken down fast enough to make a difference. Better in compost. And thanks for the compliments easy!
As far as when you should start adding nutes. Well man, don't make the same mistake I did and wait to give full doses of nutes until too late. I'd probably start them on 1/8 or 1/4 strength now just to make sure they get used to it. Keep em green and alive!

My only hesitation is they get nutes from the FFOF every time I water already. Just don't want to over do it, plus the plants do not look like they are asking for anything more than what I give them. I am trying not to be too regimental about taking care of them. I am trying to be more fluid and cater to the plant's needs based on how it communicates with me using its appearance as a mouthpiece. I'm a little high right now so I apologize for the wordiness.

lol. Right on man. Well, I thought the same thing about the MG soil. I didn't want to give more nutes because I was too afraid to burn the shit out of them. Of course, in the process I ended up letting WAY too many leaves die so my yields are definitely going to drastically go down. I think you'll be just fine starting nutes. If you're worried, start em on a low dose.

they wont break down fast enough...if you just put plain eggshells in water.i boil my eggs,remove the shell...boil them again..crush it up into a powder...then add it to the water...it only needs to break down like that if its in soil...adding fresh eggshells to water wont do a thing...unless its crushed and blended into the water

They flipped over to 12/12 on 9/28. So, just finished 4 weeks. People keep saying they look nice but I don't see it. Seems to me like I messed em up pretty bad to only be this far along at the end of 4 weeks. Not to say that I don't appreciate the compliments, lol. I just have higher expectations I guess. Maybe it's just because it's some random sativa bagseed that has a long finish time. I dunno. Talking outta my ass now.
