Its not necessary... Just regular tap water is fine to wash the coco...

Is the feeding schedual different for Autos as oppssed to photos when it comes to the lucas formula and hempys?

And when you mix your nutes and the ph comes to 5.8 one day, and 6.0 the next, or 5.7 then 6.2.. it doesn't matter... as long as its between ~5.8-6.4
It doesn't have to stay at a perfect 5.8....
Different nutrients are available at different PH levels, the fluctuations in pH allow for variations in nutrient uptake...

You use the same nutes the entire grow with the Lucas formula... So the feeding schedule stays the same....

*it really is a fullproof system...

Just woke up and lloks like she's got her first set of leaves already. Is this normal for all cannabis or just Autos? Super duper stoked now guys!!! Made sure her dome was misted and that she was moist. Temps. Were at 90.1 degrees this morning. Shell be geting her 20/4 light cycle today.

Anyone use green lights so they can see during flowering? Which bulb do you use and there's a 5 or 6 dollar green cfl at Home Depot, would this work?

Any green light would work, so u can see while the lights are off....

Yah, thats normal for all genetics once they brake ground to have true leaves in less than 24hrs... Ittl grow faster than you expect it to...

Should I start her 20/4 light cycle yet you think, I was gonna do it tonight at 5pm-9pm lights out. And when should I drop temps for vegging, when their to big for the dome? Temps when I checked her this morning were 85.4 degrees.

Yah, theres no reason not to start it right now...
everybody does there own thing... Some ppl start at 24/0 for the first week, then switch to 20/4 for 2weeks+/-, then 18/6 for another 2weeks+/-, then 14/10 for 2 weeks +/-, etc......
Some go even more gradual than that...

But most ppl just do 20/4, 19/5, 18/6.. whatever.. and then switch to 12/12 when the time comes.....

Theres a lot of info out there about the advantages/disadvantages of light/dark cycles on plants....
And the different effects they have on sativa and indica dom. plants respectively... Like 13 or 11 hour dark instead of 12 depending on the strain.....

If you dont want to go that far, there's no need... 12/12 is more than fine.... And that's what i do....

If you have a way to lower temps, I would get them down to at least 75 degrees...
But if you can easily get lower, i would... To about ~70 degrees....
With added Lights, and AirFlow.. You can allow the temps to go higher...

Right on so when it buds an auto still needs 12/12? Glad you said that I was under the assumption they satyed on the same light cycle the whole time. I would of screwed myself! That's another reason I ask questions cause I don't always understand what I read. I'm not stupid by any means but I didn't finish school so I get cofused easy when it comes to certain shit but I'm pretty damn smart when it coms to other things. Sometimes I need shit put simply to me is all and I apologize in advance for this. Thank you very much jkahndb0!!

Ohh, nah... i was talking about regular plants...

With auto's it depends on how they were bred....
Some auto's will flower with 8 hours of dark... some with none...
G13 isnt the best breeder in the world... I wouldnt think he spent all that much time on them...

For auto's i would go with people like Mdanzig....
I dont know anything about the auto ak, except that it didnt germ for me...LoL

I would still go with 12/12.... If you want you can go down gradually.. and see if it does indeed auto....
Or search for some Auto Ak grows and see what other's did....

oh and I just checked the bottom of the cube there's a root sticking out!! My phones charging now when its done ill get a pic for you guys.

I can get the temps down but it would most likely involve me having to leave the box open a lil while the lights are on. To get her to germinate I sealed her up when I realized the seed needed to be warmer to do it thing. We'll now its done and she took off! I mean shit 1st true set of leaves and a lil root poping out a couple mm out the bottom already! Crazy! So I've got the box kinda open and temps are at 79.4 and falling slowly.

Ohh, 85 degrees while its germinating/seedling is fine.. But when you transplant and start veg youll want the temps down...

Ok so I'm good for a lil while in the 80's then? Sorry just want to be sure.

Well whatls a lil while to you, you got roots comin out of the cube already... its time to transplant....

This plant is only like a week old.... (12 days from being sown)

Lil while couple days 2 or 3maybe? Its just 1 and its sticking out maybe 2mm (the root).
