Nice bud beach!

My phone camera fixed itself, but it won't focus properly. Looks like the leaves are getting a little frosty(maybe that's my imagination). I fed the plants a full serving of Liquid KoolBloom and I'm seeing nutrient issues so I'm gonna continue with my schedule of water - water - 7.5ML LKB instead of 10. I'm starting to see reddish hairs already, is this normal?
Day 24, how do they look?

The praying is new, might be another sign of nutrient burn? I'm gonna look into it tomorrow when I get home.

I'm testing out Biobizz fish mix and bloom on the Afghan and the little clone, makes the whole tent smell :spew:

Arnski, what day of flower are you on? To me they your buds look nice
It looks fine, you should start a grow journal maybe?

Lookin better, Mgal. That last pic should yield nice, keep up the good work, man.

I'm jelly, cant grow anything till my state is legal. Another 5-6 weeks, already bought everything!
Congrats! I'm in a legal/legal State and it's a huge weight off your back! :weed:

Prob is my wife. We ended up buying a house we never thought we could afford yrs ago. Lots of hard work by both of us to get the house. I'm a homebody and don't socialize much so I'd be fine growing NOW... IF I was single. I'm not going to risk everything, I can wait a bit longer. Growers need a great deal of patience, anyways. Town's mayor lives across the street down one house!

I've been treating this like a grow journal honestly, the specifics are there for people who are interested but it also helps me to look back and see what I did, and when. I also use an android app to keep track of days and sometimes feedings.

Two weeks ahead of me, keep me posted!

I don't really have any pictures to post. I'm running into what looks like a calcium deficiency in the Incredible Bulk, not sure if this was the right course of action but I gave them each a half gallon of water with veg+bloom, which I hadn't included the last 3 waterings. I also ordered some calmag if that doesn't help.

The sugar leaves are definitely frosting up, bud development looks good and the fishmix still smells like shit.

Edit:
I lied, here's a leaf with the deficiency, I just happened to have it sitting right next to me... Anyone have a better idea of what it is?

So I don't know what you're feeding but when I switch to flower, for at least the first 2 - 4 weeks I feed a combination of Bloom and flower (called transition) nutes and then when the plant has finished stretch I will change to the flowering nutes but I never drop nitrogen completely..

I follow the GH flora label and maybe add some cal-mag is all I do, here's a few I harvested recently, still pretty green

Day 28
Got the cal mag, mixed 10ML per gallon (Highest it called for on the container) and put it in a spray bottle, I sprayed twice now I'm gonna wait and see if it solves the deficiency.

Moving right along

Looks like the indica pheno with the CK. That's good, the indica responds to topping, manifolding, stem pinching way better than the sativa one. I've been doing CK since I first found it on a seed bank site in 2012 and it's exceptionally good quality. I did get rid of the sativa dominant ones though and just cloned from the indica - but I've run them to seed now and the sativa is coming back in the new batch so I gotta identify the top performer all over again. Take some clones before you flip and If she yields well keep her forever brother.
It actually took me a long time to get it right and get the kind of yields Barney's Farm was claiming but once you get things dialed in she's a top performer.

have you checked your runoff PH and are you PHing your feed? not to be a nelly know it all, but most new growers experiencing deficiencies are just getting a bit too close to a PH lockout. Get yourself some phosphoric acid and some potassium hydroxide and a PH pen and adjust every feed and every flush to PH 6. once you master it adjust to somewhere between PH 5.5 and PH 6.5 and float it, a few days at the low end then a few at the high end. google 'nutrient lockout chart' and the whole thing will be self explanatory.

You realize he's in soil right?

Op, I recommend you keep it exactly 6.5 and not bounce it or move it around or drop it to 5.5 or whatever was recommended above

Edit: I just read through your posts, your other guy that's selling bud with Bud rot in it! I'd recommend nobody does anything you ever say and I feel sorry for the people who buy bud from you

Maybe you read a few posts in that thread.
I started that thread to find out if what I was seeing was bud rot. That's what this forum is for.
Turns out it was, and if you'd read through a few more posts you'd have noted that I discovered a tiny amount in a large grow and spent quite a bit of time ensuring what was going out to my customer was clean. All in all about 20 grams of affected bud across 80 ounces. The rot started very late and I caught it within a couple days.
The reason that thread exploded is because a couple of trolls got in there and got on their high horses because of a situation where my buyer asked me to do a run using PGRs and I did it, and those two assholes think anyone who uses PGRs is a devil worshiping baby killer.

On the PH thing, it's no big deal. grow how you want. I grow in 40 litre hempy buckets with a perlite layer on the bottom and the rest is a mixture of soil and compost, sometimes 100% compost and I roll my PH between 5.5 and 6.5, usually on the high side but I've never observed any benefits to going higher than 6.5 and you tend to walk a fine line with lockout going high despite what the established science is with respect to higher PH in soil. Just sharing what's worked for me. If I'd read the whole thread I probably wouldn't have bothered with that advice, but that's an awful lot of reading to do before making one comment and I think forums work quite well when as many ideas as possible are tossed on the table.

I read the thread; maybe my statement was a little strong but I used to buy MMJ weed before legalization here and I knew a girl that worked at a local dispensary and when I heard some stories of what they were forced to sell by the owners I quickly started growing and while I do see your commercial investment I also see the consumer pov

Day 31 of Flower

I check PH occasionally. I watered today with some veg+bloom, liquid KoolBloom and some CalMag, runoff tested at 6.2-6.3 ph and 12-1300PPM
it's been 800-900 in the past so maybe I'm overdoing it with the nutrients again. Although maybe they like the extra nutrients, any thoughts? A couple sources say 1-1100, another says they use up to 1900PPM with weekly flushes so I guess I'll see how they respond. I don't want to mess up the taste of the end product. I will be flushing nutes the last 14 days or so.

I have a bunch of clones of the CK, it was a vigorous grower and allowed me to take a lot more clones than the IB. I gotta say though, the Incredible Bulk is smelling crazy. The CK has a sort of juicy fruit smell to it, not quite as sharp as the IB. The Incredible Bulk has a sharp pungent smell, closest I can get to the smell is sour skittles.

I have 3 CK clones going for fun, one in a <1 gallon pot the other two in 3 gallon fabric pots. I topped every outer growth node on one of them, the other one I supercropped and otherwise left alone. These plants barely need any time to recover which makes them good for experiments and my (lack of) patience.

Think it'll be a 60 day flower?

The CK I grow smells totally insane by the time it's done. It goes right through a carbon filter as if it's not even there. To the point where I've had to start using an ozone generator in the air intake to try and neutralize as much of it as possible before it gets exhausted. The bud is actually dangerous to transport in my country as it's so damn stinky and it's still not legal here (yet. decriminalization bills all over the place in parliament) My info on it may or may not be relevant to the CK you get from a seed bank today because my seed stock was from 2012 or 2013 I think and they may have tweaked it since then who knows.

Mine is fully developed by day 60 but trichs stay clear until about day 70-ish and dont get to 20% amber until about day 80. I often get fed up waiting and pull them a little early around day 70-75.
It's the only shit thing about CK for me, I'm breeding my own auto strain at the moment by crossing Mendo Mass with Amnesia and also breeding Mendo Mass on it's own just purely because I can get one and a half Mendo grows through in the time it takes to grow CK.

a caveat with my experience with the PH levels with my CK, I used to grow in coco/perlite and rolled between 5.5 and 6.5 and all was well. When I switched to soil/compost I followed the generally accepted rule of thumb that soil has a buffering effect and likes a slightly higher PH so I ran at PH 6.5-6.8 for the first two runs. They worked out fine, I didn't see any evidence of trace element lockout but I gave it a try rolling the PH between 5.5 and 6.5 on the next run and got a slightly improved yield. I've done that ever since, however it should be noted that my mix is about 80-90% compost and that compost is almost all woody mulch and after you've run nutrient solution through it for a few weeks it just behaves like inert medium, almost like coco but without the mag def. Kinda weird but it works a charm. The reason I do it is because the compost is a third the price of coco bricks, fungus gnats aren't interested in it as the top 3 inches dries out in a day (they're still there but in low numbers), you use half the nutrients and you don't have to use coco nutes to avoid micronutirient/mag def. Basically it's cheap and works good.

Very good info. My ck is recent from a seed bank and I'm very impressed with it as a smoke. Interesting to see you get bored of waiting around 75 days too I'm currently coming up to last few weeks hopefully. On over 8 weeks flower already

Day 34 or so

The CK is starting to get that sharp smell to it, I'm thinking the IB is just developing faster.
Fed them both today, IB reads a little high at 1600 PPM
Both are 6.5 PH

Lights off pictures:

The Afghan in the back is starting to grow buds and requires almost daily watering to keep from drooping in the 1 gal smartpot.

Hola amigo, looking good! What do you mean 16K PPM? ..you mean 1600 right?
