The grow room is up and running , this is what i'm working with:

(1) T8 tube 1warmwhite

(2) T12 tubes 1coolwhite and 1warmwhite

(1 or 2)* CFL 1X6500k 1X2700k

* : CFL i'm maybe gonna put a Y splitter to use 2 bulbs but for now the bulb in the picture is just for demo.

Schultz soil with Nutes

MG FERT : 24-8-16

After germination , Starting seeds with 4'' pots covered with saran wrap for humiditie.

So all that's missing is my seeds

Good Start Zig Zag!

I keep it 2500 lumens per sq ft and it seems to do well in my small space. The number one ingredient in this little project of yours is gonna be patience! Kee'em warm, give them lots of light, don't over water, and watch your PH, and RELAX!! They will grow like a damn weed!

Give it 24 to 48 hours to sink.. then put it in a wet paper towel and keep it cool, dark and moist until you see the white sprout begin to pop out. Thats when you want to plant it, seed up, covered about twice the depth of the seeds width. For me, FoxFarm Light Warrior works best for seedlings.

Ok one my seed sank so i put directly in dirt pot covered with plastique to make humidity and i works cause there's fog in the plastic .. its under one 38w coolwhite t12's and on the side of a 20w t8 :D its my first grow hope it works out , i will get pictures if she break threw :D

So 3 out of 3 seeds sank , 1 (durban poison) popped in soil after a couple of hours.

Still waiting on the other 2(afgan,skunk) to pop.

I will get picture when at least one of them break threw and loses her shell :D

this is actually poor advice. a warm place, such as ontop of the cable box, is ideal for germination

i see what you ment, floros not neons lol

at this point the floros thould be plenty of light. it should be between 1-3 in from the plant for max light penitration. when your plants get bigger and you can rig that cfl to something better than a pot, then by all means use it

im also a little concerned you soil might be a little strong for your baby. do not use any nutrients untill your plant shows signs of being hungy. i typically use only neutral soil (in small pots) untill my babies are a few weeks old. then i transplant into soil with nutrients or compost untill the plant shows me what its hungry for(yellow leafs and the sort)

and MG is crap. if you have shultz products dont use the MG

My soil is schultz , so i will try to find nutes of the same brand .

Right now i have 2 seed germinating . I put them in a shooter glass filed with water with a coffee mug on top to keep it dark , all this under my fluros to keep them hot.

Should i wait until they show root under water ro put them in soil when they sink ?

Presently , the only seed growing is the durban poison (other 2 in shooter glass)

Any other advice ?
