I've gotten a clone, it was cut underwater, then introduced in rooting hormone then put in soil. I mist it at least 7 times a day and it sits in a humidity dome under a 23 cfl(output-1750 lumens)
This is the second day and the base leaves seem to be rotting( turning into a darker green and looking very weak).
What should i do to prevent this and to ensure the survival of the clone?

the first few days the plant may appear to be dying..this is normal.. give it some time to set some roots and pick itself back up.... one thing though, MORE LIGHT!!!

In soil all ready lol
i got 4 clones and all in rock wool now all have roots but they do go all weak intill the start growing roots But ...........
i bet you left all the leafs on the there you need to cut all the leafs in half so the growth is too the root not leafs

Right now it's looking even worse, i mean the leafs are all down

cut the leafs in half, isnt that going to completely kill the plant? well im going to try anyways. Anything else?

and by dying i mean that the clone's leafs, just at the biggining of them(where they connect to the stem), look like they are very weak. And by weak i dont mean just standing down, but the color is darkish green. My friend got a clone too and the same thing happened to him. When he touched the leaf with the tip of his finger, the leaf stuck to his finger and when he pulled his finger back the leaf came apart.

Is there any way i can make it healthyer?

don't mist it so much. maybe twice a day at the most for the first 3 to 4 days then remove the dome and stop misting.

okay i cut 1/3 of all leaves, took the dome off and put it closer to light.
Maybe the leafs are looking like that because of too much water.

And thanks for the help guys. Il keep you posted

if you dont have roots, you can water the soil 20 times and it wont make a diff.

I suggest putting your clone in a humidity dome. You can even make one with a tuppaware container( make sure to poke some holes in it tho)
