First grow, Green Crack (fem) CFL

Excess sugars and chloroplast will cause the buds to have what is considered a harsh smoke.

You'll notice this if the back of your throats chokes up when you take a drag.

Limiting nutrients at the end of the plants' lifecycle will force them to use all remaining sugars.

Keeping the buds dry and in the dark for curing allows the chloroplast to degrade.

This isn't rocket science, it's pot science.

Personally id argue pot science can potentially get more complicated since it involves a complex living organism but i agree with what you said before that lol
 
I did also read also that the keeping in the dark and harvesting at the end of the dark cycle ensures the plants starches are in the root system and not in the foliage etc (does that sound right?). but yes thanks!!

Cannabis will actually expel alcohol through the roots later in flower, this causes the brown colouration and notable smell.

I see fox tailing. what are your temps like? could be genetics. Ive seen a mutant phenotype called dr grinspoon i think that was all foxtails

Lmao!! It's my bathtub!! Temps are perfect. The two tall colas get burned every once and a while. They're fox tailing a bit probably due to the heat. I have the lights low for the other buds. The two big guys have to take it for the team haha

Hahaha. I wouldn't have even noticed. Soo white! Lol Do you use magic erasers or just bleach?!? Im just playing man. Buds so fkn fat they r foxtailing :)
 
I adjusted the lights a bit this morning so the main colas weren't almost touching haha. Maybe get the fox tailing to stop. I think they're on their 3rd watering without fade in the leaves (close to a week). They should go out nicely... can't WAIT to trim these bitches. So amped hahaha. Not sure if I'll do it in the mancave or in uber bright white bathrooms lmao!!

Yeah it should be pretty hard to cause that with cfls if you have a fan pulling or blowing air over it enough and the general temperature is ok.
