That's a super nice set up man. The only thing I saw that was in need of improving was the power strip and air pump sitting next to your flood table; I'd mount that to the wall or something just in case of the unlikely event of an overflow. I wish I had the room to do something like that.

Have a good trip and Merry Christmas! It'll be cool to see such a difference when you get back. Mine always look the same because I can't help but check on them all the time, especially this stage of flower.

Alright so I got back from vacation with alittle over one week left for the OG. I was very upset to find that the spider mites have gotton alittle out of control now because I havent been able to do much to prevent them. They are now webbing on the tops of the colas so they are becoming very vicious right now. Please help me on what to do till harvest!!! I also added some pictures with a microscope but dont think I did a very good job... but anyways are they looking one week from harvest?? The vegging plants are looking allot better now and the roots are doing great; already through the bottom of pots and spreading only 1 week in vegging. The only problem is I think i have a deficiency or nute problem but I really think its just not used to sensigrow A+B that they are now getting. the ppm is at about 1100 but the sides of some leaves are looking burnt.

Anyways here's the pictures lets get some feedback!!

And these are the other OG clones we have vegging but they are infected with a few spider mites so I don't really know what to do with them right now. Any opinions?

Thanks for the help :joint:

I'd bathe those clones in neem or pyrithrin. Technically you could still spray the buds with pyrithrin, but I wouldn't want to, there is so much to cover you'd never get them all anyway. I've heard of people using a vacuum with tiny nozzle attachments like those used to clean a keyboard, and gently sucking the mites and webs away to keep them in check. Good luck!

Vacuum got off about 90 percent of the webbing! felt good too just see those mites get sucked up with such ease haha thanks for the tip!

No problem! Yeah, mites suck really bad. Make sure you really soak those clones and clean everything really well so you don't get them on your next cycle. I got them last time and fought 'em til the end, needless to say I was quite paranoid this time but all is well so far, and I'm about where you are at. The main thing I changed is to make sure I do any gardening right after a shower, or at least when I am clean. I work outside a lot and I used to come home and check out my plants right away so I'm pretty sure how they got them.

Yeah it could be a combination of allot of things :/. By soak to you mean spray the leaves with a mister of neem? Im definitely am going to clean the shit out of everything so the next cycle hopefully doesn't get any. Also a couple nights we got flooded with that knarly storm that hit so we got some knats from that too... Should be getting ready to flush either tomorrow or the next day. Also got a small fan for the vegroom so all the leaves are moving now. Is a small fan enough ventilation for that vegroom? It doesnt really get hot with the T5's but I was thinking as to getting fresh air and all..

Thanks again spark always appreciate the input... BUT WOULD LOVE SOME OTHER PEOPLES OPINIONS AS WELL!

Yeah, you have to cover every bit of the plant with solution. Either spray thoroughly or fashion some sort of lid so you can turn the whole pot upside down and dunk in a solution without losing or disturbing the hydroton.

Yeah, and what's up? I know other folks are reading this too - chime in, other opinions/options is what this is all about.

Alright so im going to start my flush today... One question... Would it be harmfull to cut a bunch of leaves on the OG to get rid of the mites on them? With only one week left I want the plant to get as much focus on the buds as it can but whats your guys' opinions?

I'd think you'll be alright trimming a bunch of leaves. I don't think it will divert any energy to the buds because I subscribe to the school of thought that the plant needs as many leaves as possible to produce energy. Then again, some people trim out as much as possible to get light to the buds and swear by it. I've even seen some people that basically manicure their buds while the plant is still living and seem to think it's helping. Bottom line, you should be OK, the loss of mites is more important than the loss of a few leaves IMO.

read up on the thread and i like the kinda head you are...subbed till the end and will be watching the next one. good luck getting the borg,(mites) i recommend a sulfur burn as soon as you can and if you have any problems before flower i usually will sulfur then to, just what i do. good luck and stay medicated :) and i couldnt agree more with the prev poster about leaves at the end.

Thanks allot DM and welcome to the page. I will be posting all the pictures of the cut branches and such in a couple hours got to watch my PACKERS first :). Also I will be starting a new log on the new cycle I got going too very soon. This was my first grow where I did completely everything (with advice and help from others) so i'm very excited to see the final results per plant. I hang the trimmings from each plant on one hanger so I know how much it will weigh out in the end per plant. I thought this was a fun way so that I can see what plants were the most successful and least. They are drying in a closet with a line going across and I hang the hangers on that. In the room we have a dehumidifier to keep it nice and dry and air flowing in the room while its closed.
