First Grow (Journal, also help/advice/suggestions) CFL

LOL yea... She is fixin to be huge! I just forget about her... She's the redheaded step child! I'll get to her when my pretty girls are done!
 
She got pretty big pretty quick!! I'm excited! I might have to LST the tomato!


Not sure she really digs on that much light though...

For a first grow, one of the best I've seen (although I've been away for a while and don't post much). I've read the whole thread (shame about the gap in the middle, these things happen).

I know you've put a lot of time and effort into it and it's paid off. Not long now...

I've been growing for a couple of years now but only a very simple set up: One or two small plants, x14 20w cfl, passive vent, no fans, cheapo soil and nutes... but it keeps me in weed.

Just wanted to say when I first started there was so much info on what you can and cannot do. I thought, well, cannabis grows best on the side of a mountain in some shithouse in the middle east so... not wet, not cold, not dark and easy on the nutes. As a previous poster wrote "it's a weed".

Anyway, well done that man!

p.s. At the moment I'm waiting on a crop so I'm smoking the worst soap bar rocky you can get 'cos I'm skint (poor) :lol:

Thanks man! God speed on your crop man! I'm really proud of my girls. A little stress and a lotta love goes a long way! they are pretty easy to grow lol. . . I'm excited about harvest time!
 
A bit off topic but a mate had a hydroponics set up in a spare bedroom. One day he forgot to lock the door. His ten year old son took his friends to see the Doctor Who room!
 
HAHA! That's funny! My daughter loves the plant room as we call it! She sleeps so well in there! I credit it to the extra oxygen!
 
I sleep next to my plants and keep my dirty socks nearby so lots of carbon dioxide.

Just a quick note: I'm in the UK (UT+1/BST) so... for me it's midnight.

One of the main reasons I started growing is since the age of mobile (cell) phones, I don't want scallywags on bikes or gangsters in cars to know where I live. Also, wet, green "super cheese... blah..." isn't my cup of tea. Especially when people say "Yeah, but it's 1.6g for £20" ($30?)!!! Liverpool is the heart of "stuff" in Western Europe but you don't see it on the street. Well...

I keep the origin of my stash quite vague. It's nothing to write home about but people ask. The reason I've run out is that I was far too generous at Christmas :-) I just tell people it's not that good and wait til they've forgotten about where it's come from.

Home grown FTW!
 
Do it man! I can't wait to see yours! Mine have seemed to stop gaining much weight. I hope they pick up again. They have at least 1 week left. I would like to take them all @ the same time but I got em all looking like they are going to finish @ different times. I guess that is what I get for growing 4 bagseed. Yours look hella good man!
 
it doesnt hurt to finish at the different times sir, cus then you can smoke it all at once you have to wait and let it cure, so i mean if you think some of them can go longer with out loosing potency, go for it but if not just ge em done, and

I'm trying to pick a bad ass strain for my next grow! My wife and I are into Up, Happy, Creative, Productive highs. So a short to medium sativa would be perfect. I'm going to be getting tangerine dream just because we love it! I was thinking White Widow also am digging LSD and a Cherry of some sort! I hear it's a good smoke and super tasty! IF ANYONE HAS ANY INPUT ON A SWEET STRAIN THAT I COULD GROW NEXT TIME BASED ON WHAT I SAID AS OUR LIKE PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I'm really excited about my next grow! Also, I know TD is only femed but I want to get some non femed seeds and I want to do some breeding for the SEEDS! I'm not a huge fan of the prices and if I could just crop 1 plant loaded with seeds then I would be good for a while. I'm also going to grow all my TD and then I'm going to Reveg the best one. Hope I get a solid pheno. And then take clones off her. Might try and stress one clone to get a hermie out of it so I can have some seeds from her too! I'M GOIN IN!

Why would you grow Salvia? I think that shit is a waste of 10 minutes. I wanna grow Thai Reds. It's a little red super hot pepper! I gotta check my tomato here shortly!
