First grow, kinda got carried away..This work??

Hello folks! First grow, and trying to get the "perfect" environment. Any Ideas? Using a 400HPS in a 52" x 24" x 48" tall tent. 80cfm intake, Rule 240cfm bilge fan (exhaust). Modified the hood reflector with a 4" duct starter sleeve to pull heat directly off of the bulb. (hope it keeps the heat down). Smaller cabinet underneath for seedlings and clones.( may put another Rule 240 there and vent to a 4"wye with upper tent vent as well if I cant get the heat down, and then straight up into the attic with a carbon filter there. Here are some pics, with 1 week old seedlings. Anyone tell anything about these? Growing good? type? etc?? These were just bag seeds and I have NO Idea what kinda they are

looks like your ready to be a farmer man...lol holy shit go big or go home right....anyway, looks like your on your way to have a nice grow. you have the equipment, but do you have the paitence? lol youll figure out what works for you man...what type of soil and what kind of lights are they under as seedlings?

Beautiful setup! Good luck on the grow. Bag seed is perfect to start with get everything going right with that than get some nice strains. Cant wait to see what comes of that setup. :)

Yeah, I definitely have the patience! soil is 50% MG potting mix, 25% MG Perlite, and 25% worm castings. Just got some FF Grow Big to start soon. Just not sure what I can yield in this tent??

I ordered some Nirvana WW, and some Purple widow as well. Whats some good forgiving stains to grow? Thanks BTW!

For the seedlings im using 26w 6500k CFL's. I have 10 of them in that box. but it gets too hot with all of them on. I didnt realize I was making a dang oven. Thats why I may end up adding another 240cfm there too. But, the 4-6 that are on seem to be doing good..the plants look normal for their stage? PH is a little high at about 6.8 but I can pull that down if I start seeing tale tell signs....

Thanks man, Its been a dang money pit that's for sure!! I will keep updating everyday or 2. I have always craved to see the finest herb on the stalk..what better way, I say. The next few weeks will be real cool!

Cool setup man, I'm using a flat based CFL setup for vegging and this is making me reconsider..

I hear you on that. All you can do is throw money at your setup till everything works out fine.

I know!! I gave myself a budget of $250. HAHA yeah..like that worked out!...this is worse than being on crack lol...I'm hoping 4 oz's per grow isn't far fetched. I would like to have 6 females (best case scenario) at any giving time. I just enjoi the hobby aspect of it. and the burn down in a few months lol

Gave the babies their first dose of Nutes this morning. Traces of Fox Farm Grow BIG mixed with gallon of room temp. distilled tap water. Leaves seem to be a little droopy this evening, but still very healthy. I have been going every 3rd- 4th day on watering, just whenever the cups feel lite again. Maybe I'll stretch a day longer between juice. Im assuming the droopy leaves is because of a little more moisture in the leaves

Thanks Bro! (assuming you are a guy) lol. Good luck with your grow too! I cant wait!!! Im patient tho! I just want some herb to smoke...Dont really know where to find any anymore. (besides mexican brickweed) Just as soon stop if thats all I can get lol. Its sad that I seriously lust over my plants lol. gosh, in a month or 2, i'll probably fall asleep at night holding on to one of the buds lmao

Freaking great setup :bigjoint:I'm subbing this for sure. I wanna see those WWs Grow. I'd put something to cover the clear plastic on those cups so the roots can spread around with no problem :)

Good luck with the grow. Can't wait for more pics.
