Freaking great setupI'm subbing this for sure. I wanna see those WWs Grow. I'd put something to cover the clear plastic on those cups so the roots can spread around with no problem
Good luck with the grow. Can't wait for more pics.
I had duct tape around them..just couldnt see it...Kinda looking foward to the purple widow myself!!!!

Thanks man, yeah I have 10 of them.. gets too hot in that "oven" so I leave it open in front for now..A local place sells track lights pieces dirt cheap...Hence why im using those...cuts out some of the room, but I think it will still work...

Thanks guys for all the kind words!! It sucks i cant show it off to my buddies locally..........I guess this is the next best thing!! The last 4 pics i posted, what makes the leaves droop? moisture? Just curious......funny.., i can just rub a leave, and my finger smells like a big dripping juicy bud...GOSHHHHH The anticipation is KILLIN ME!!!!!!

How long should I leave them in the cups before I transplant them into a bigger 1 gallon? (3 gallon on down the road..)

I'm not an expert or anything. But from what i know you should let it get a good root system in that cup, I'm using similar clear cups to you. I was going to wait until i could see a good amount of roots on the bottom.

I gotta say if i did not say it already, your little seedling look freaking nice lol.
And the droop may be water. I learned a little ignoring helps (This can be hard for a first time grower lol) . Let the roots stretch out and look for the water. Just water when the soil seems dryish. Use your best judgment.
EDIT EDIT, are there holes in the bottom so it can drain?

Well thanks dude!! makes me a proud dad..U know,..i try.."ahem" to bring them up right lmao lol, any rate, yeah I will hold off on watering... I have tried sprouting 30+ seeds lately and nothing..only few cracked open..bag seeds of course but man..i cant WAIT till the goods ones get here! shopping around for a few more as we speak...
oh yeah, I do have drain holes.. five 1/4" holes in each cup roughly

My setup is not as nice as yours honestly i'm jealous lol. I want to get a nice strain of some fem seeds but i don't really see a point with my ghetto setup.. Maybe if I move out of this stupid place, and get a more privet home i can get a better setup and grow some good stuff.
I've never tried a "name brand" strain before, and i want to bad XD I think the two i want to try the most are WW and purple haze.
so your Purple widow sounds awesome to me.

Not alot of info on the purple widow...mostly an outdoor strain..SO im taking a gamble. But just the thought of purple buds drive me nuts! Which part of the world you in man?

Hey Steve, nice work. I don't think you will regret spending that extra money on a proper setup.
Just a heads up, I noticed that you made a filter out of a carbon pre-filter for an air conditioner or something. I made an identical filter to yours and have found that its only good for veg. For flowering I ended up buying a proper filter to cover the smell. The new filter, though it covered up the smell, restricted the air-flow considerably more than the homemade one causing heat issues. Then again, maybe your not that worried about the smell because you are venting into the attic.

I had planned on filling the inside of the can full of activated carbon as well. Still at the experimental phase. Hopefully two 240cfm fans will have some effect..time will tell...still need to cover the smell. Probably would go un-noticed, but better safe than sorry. Hydro store an hour away, so if and when that time comes, if I have to, i can go grab another fan and filter. cross that bridge when it comes..Im tired of nickel and diming over this thing..lol
