First Grow - PC Case!

The Fox Farm feeding chart says to use Tiger Bloom in conjunction with Big Bloom for all of flower, as well as Grow Big for 2 weeks within flower. And I've got both Big Bloom and Grow Big, so I'll definitely be getting Tiger Bloom. But I will keep feeding with Big Bloom & Grow Big until they

And yeah, they were female clones. Since they're clones should I still follow that guideline that they're technically vegging until they show sex? Should I continue to feed with Grow Big & Big Bloom and hold off on Tiger Bloom til they start to get pistils, or...?

sorry, i didnt read that you had the big bloom already, stoner bongsmilie!!

that i am unsure of how to answer. i thought i seen preflowers in some earlier shots, are they showing already? if they are, you may just wanna watch for deficiencies and use straight water. be better to play it safe ya know... but if you havent shown sign, or there is very little sign, then prob feed one more time on your current regime, then switch big & tiger bloom combo for flower. but all this is dependent on what the plant tells you, so look for any deficiencies.

It seems like everyday I check out the plants there's just tons of new growth. Pinned down some more of the left plant.

Got a bunch of pictures from yesterday morning (5/26) along with some from this morning!

Oh, and a picture of my cat Rush on top of my pc case!

They're in 6.8" Diameter pots. Not sure of the volume.

My cat hates when I'm in the computer room (the room the grow case is in) and the door is closed so she can't get in. She meows her heart out trying to get me to let her in. I try not to have her in there if I've got the case open because all she wants to do is go up to the plants and sniff and bat at them with her paws. But it's so hard to ignore a pathetic little sad meow. Whenever I let her in the room, the first place she goes is right up to the case. She rubs herself all over it, to feel the heat I assume, and then gets on top and lays down.

Thanks bcboy for taking a look!

Got some pictures to update with. The plants are just growing like crazy. The left one is pretty dense - I am constantly pinning down new growth with paper clips trying to organize the foliage. The right one is shooting up and getting tall - probably going to have to lower that one before I lower the left one. The last few times I've fed I have used the Big Bloom/Grow Big combo, next time I feed I'm going to start the Big Bloom/Tiger's Bloom combo and I'm sure they'll love that. :hump:

Got a few pics from the night of the 28th, and a few from last night.

Thanks guys! Got a couple pics that I forgot to upload from yesterday morning.

When I was watering them on... Saturday, I think it was, I saw a couple fungus gnats flying around. So I went to one of the local hydro stores and talked to a few people there. Ended up picking up a 2-pack of Mosquito Dunks and some sticky fly strip. I put half of a Mosquito Dunk in a gallon jug of water last night and it's been sitting overnight. I haven't watered since Monday night. When I looked earlier the top of the soil was dry. I turned over some soil with a pen and it looked to be pretty dry down below. So I'm going to use the Mosquito Dunk water tonight when the lights come on. I also have a few questions for anyone who has used this product previously:

- Should I use the mosquito dunk water as a drench? And if so, should I be drenching with it more often than I would regularly water? Like, drench every day or just drench whenever the soil is dry?

- Also, what about nutes? Should I water with both the dunk water and nuted water?

Thanks for your guys' help!

Everything is looking really good. Buds are, for the most part, real small still. I've been feeding with half strength bloom nutes... practically every watering. They seem to love it. I should probably up to full strength and feed every other watering. It's been really hot here in the central valley - low to mid 90's. During lights on the temps have been reaching 88-92ish. I've been putting a fan in front of the case blowing air directly at the intake overnight, seems to help a bit. I'm going to Oregon next week for 4 days, and I'm wondering how I should go about not letting the girls dry out and horribly wilt while I'm gone... Think I'll probably drench em real good before we leave and just hope the temps don't get too high. I think I'm going to try and rearrange the fans in the case tomorrow - gonna move the exhaust on the top right to the top left so I'll have both exhaust fans on the left and the intake on the bottom right. Hopefully the air flow is better with that configuration, but we'll see.

I've got some pictures that I just took. Let me know what you guys think please!

WOW, really, WOW!! they look great!! in that 1st pic of the left plant i can tell that it is almost as wide as the computer case!! I like your idea with your exhaust. that will give a better flow of air through the pc instead of into it and then being swirled all around. as for your 4 day vacation, i would put the plants directly on the bottom of the PC, and i would even remove a light of 2. basically i would give them a 4 day vacation too. in a small space like yours the chances are just so much higher for a problem, and I have seen problems in several bigger grows where they watered before they left, left for the weekend, and came back to problems, or worse disaster...

good luck though, and hope you get your temps worked out, i think your plan will help

First off, This is an awesome grow. Combines my two favorite things, Tech and Weed. Amazing recovery with the burns you got. I just hope another light disaster doesn't happen while you're gone.

I think L.E.D.s in a computer case would be bomb, you know to go with the whole Tech geek feel, but I don't really know to much about leds.

Your grow is kool. I subed
P.S. -Your cat is awesome.
