First grow, pretty tight space, how much veg/training left?

Ok, first try was slightly successful and slightly unsuccessful.

I made 2 very small holes in the two corners nearest to the cabinet doors with scissors, "sealed" 2 segments of hollow elastic gardening wire with duct tape, and then raised the oppsite side of the pot with a couple of rubber inserts i had lying around.

Upped the waterings to almost 3L and overall had 350ml-ish straight runoff, plus some (very little) that didn't drain out of the drain pan, plus some wicked by the fabric pot's underside. I'd say 3L is around 20% runoff.

The "idea" imho is the cleanest one i had already available in-house without going out and buying stuff, and although the execution was a little bit off since flow was slow and there was a little leaking going on, i could properly seal the little hoses with hot glue and maybe also add like 2-3 more little hoses.

Look up 4 way lst….. every girl I’ve ever done with the exception of one has been a four-way low stress train…… very efficient in tight spaces also I get pretty damn good yeilds and air flow useing this method

I will for sure! I love reading up on techniques.

The topping+training+scrog i provided to this fine lady was unplanned and unplugged:
- tie the biggest branches away from each other
- let them have some space and uncover the lower growths
- tuck leaves under bud sites and defoliate when the canopy becomes almost solid (this bitch is leafy AF)

Following a plan would surely lead to a more efficient canopy and yields. Thanks for the recommend bud @Buddernugs , much appreciated

Ya buddy!!!!!

Reporting after another 3L watering.
I didn't let the leaves droop too much, now i water a few hours after i notice from the cam the leaves start pointing downwards more than upwards.

Day 49




Fixed the drain "pipes", now there's just a bigger one sealed with hot glue.
Quickly collected all the runoff this time, got almost exactly 20% of total watering volume.

I want to take the time to thank everyone here:
you've all been immensely helpful in one way/subject or another, and i now feel more motivated and better equipped to follow through the next months of Flowering and get this plant done, to expand in the future and try different techniques, mediums and planters. This post won't probably receive updates since its purpose has been exhausted, i'm sure i will post a proper grow diary or something like that in the next days/weeks.

I must not be the only one feeling this, but horticulture and in general growing living things is so fucking cool. I could grow ants for all i care, i just love to be the one studying how to make it happen, making it happen and being around it to see it constantly evolving and adapting

Making smokable product and getting a little buzz after is a cool plus of course

Also, friends that have never even seen a cannabis plant irl all going "WOOOO" when they see my baby makes me feel damn cool as well.

Sorry man, I can't read that. Looks Italian maybe? Anyways, look on the sips thread on here. There's diy ones using totes that are pretty cheap to make and are efficient. I only use the earthbox because I'm lazy and don't feel like building a sip. Lol

I looked at something like that before, but I if I remember correctly, I was thinking coco in them. It's been a while since I seen it though.
