i decided to try and take some clones today, i cut 4, and ill see how they do, i will let them veg for about a week then put them into flower with the rest of them........ id like to set up a little space to keep 1 or 3 mother plants... maybe i will usethe 150 watt hps i have for that !

ill post some pics of the clones soon, if they survive!

here are some pics i just got a new light 600 watt hps instead of my 400 watt, ive also sold my little hydro set up and got a great deal on a 4x4 table, res and pump with all the fittings. i will use this as a flowering table in the future. picture 2 is my plants about 2 weeks into flower

right now i have 3 plants on a tray in rockwool cubes with hydroton all around....... can i water like this or will the water sitting at the bottom harm the plants? (picture 3)

here are some pics of the clones, humidity in the tent is at 90 % i dont see any roots yet, but the leaves are still green and not too too droopy, i guess thats a good sign, its been 3-4 days so far... (picture 1)

i will post some pics of the new table soon, i am also looking for suggestions on mediums to fill the table with, id like something easy to manage and id like to try coco coir..... should i go with pots in the tray or rockwool etc?

i forgot to mention, i am trying a bit of lst with one of the plants as it has allot of fairly well developed branches, so im going to see if i can get more yeild of it by pulling it sideways to keep all the branches going up into the light.

something i found interesting, while i was pulling the males, i noticed 1 had almost no roots comming out the bottom of the cube. this plant also happened to be the biggest one? check out the pics!

well the plants seem to be doing great in their new tray....... i think i will be watering only once a day, maybe twice.... well see how much they drink.

wow, looking at my plants today, they are really starting to flower, and they are beautiful!!!

im going to try and get a real camera so i can get some macro shots of the bud sites!

the plant i did the lst to has about 10 or more budsites all getting lots of light!

as you can see i am excited!

hopefully soon the clones will root and then ill really be in buisness!

My clones stems donot turn red... I'm not sure if this is a problem, but usually when things start turning red this means there is a problem.

How long have your clones been in?

the clones have been in rapid rooters since the 22nd, ph 5.5 water with very little flower nutes. i used rapid rooters and rooting powder #3 it said for hard wood on the bottle.. temperature is at a constant 70 degrees or 20 celsius. and their inside a humidity done with 90-100 % humidity

a few more days of flowering, plants are looking good! im starting to see some crystals forming on some of the leaves, but only on the plants in earth.... is this normal ?

one of the hydro plants seems to be not doing so well, i checked the ph of the water in its cube, and it seems to be about 7, when the rest of them are at 5.5, im not sure why only 1 is lower than the rest...... i will try and flush out that cube!

a couple of shots from today.

the last pic shows the one on the middle, thats comming up sideways its the one having the problems, the leaves on it are droopier than the rest, and yellowing! it also has the most bud sites, since i did a bit of lst...... i am wondering if it needs more water and nutrients than the rest of them and thats why its suffering? ph is off only in that 1 particular plant, not sure whats causing it!!

its been a little while since an update, ive been busy with life and the holidays! 40 days flowering, my plants are really starting to thicken out, crystally too!! im excited!!

half of my clones died, but the other half didnt, so at least im left with something to work with ! im curious, a couple of my clones have only 3 leaves, and are looking a little deformed.... what would be causing this?

heres some more pics of my flowering plants

hey skunkushbird, yes, i have 10 clones vegging from those plants, id like to make 1-2 of them into mothers, so im going to keep them in veg till i see which plants produced the best buds.. and then flower the rest of the clones

I am also purchasing some seeds from a local breeder in the next week, some jack herer crossed with sour diesel, so im excited about that!

all this and i still havent gotten to taste my buds yet....... im thinking another 2-3 weeks and they will be ready! i cant wait!

wow those look like beasts! how long did you veg those for? and what sort of space is that their in, look like a good size, if your looking for nice indica to do, lots of suggestions,
some nice strains ive seen or not on here, white russian (strongest Marijuana plant available supposedly), in fact ANY of the plants from serious seeds, all winners them, or take at look at Greenhouseseeds.nl they do some amazing strains, have won like 31 awards for their plants, plus they have video's for all their really great strains, you could even try Arjans haze 3# from there, supposedly as Sativa dwarf, look at the video its looks REALLY good.
sorry for the essay enjoy!

hey jollybrother, I vegged those for 5 weeks from seed, had allot of problems in the begining though, with ph and hard water.... 3 of them were vegged in a hydro tray in rockwool blocks, the others in pots, i never transplanted them out of the 6 inch pots of earth, so i might have stunted the growth, im not really sure, next time i will try to transplant into bigger pots at the end of veg......

the space is just a walk in crawl space in my unfinished basement with some wooden shelving....... its about 5 feet tall....

ive learnt allot with this first grow and its really spiked my interest, there is so much more i want to try and experiment with !!!

I still havent even had the chance to harvest and taste these buds i cant wait!

Sopme decent looking ladies you got there mob', hard to believe how these girls were looking a few weeks ago. Look at them now, all done up and looking real juicy.

You should be proud of yourself.

thanks skunk, I am amazed at the job i did with these girls, I had no idea they would end up looking like this, everyday the crystals seem to be getting thicker over the leaves, and the calyxes are all swelling up really fattening up the buds, almost all the trichromes are milky/cloudy white, I will give them a flush tommorow, and plain water for another 5-7 days.....

I was thinking about last 48 hours in the dark before i cut them........ should i cut them when the earth is wet or dry ?
