It will act faster than you think. What kind of tester/meter is it? Sounds like its working. dead on each time and not all over the place.
15$ rapitester. It's 6.5 everytime, everywhere! So hopefully its worked out now, or close to it! Thanks again for all your help with that whole ordeal. Fingers crossed its behind me now!

Haha. Even though I don't always take your advice, its ALWAYS appreciated!! I know I should relax about the babies and take a deep breath now and then.....its hard though, I'm highly competitive and "failure" tends to not sit right with me:). On top of that, I invested a good enough chunk of scratch to put the whole grow together, that I'd like to at least make that back in free smoke on the first run! Stop giving dealers all my hard earned dollars.

Yessir, the wife and I will save so much paper! We can't even get price breaks for weight, eighth 60$, quarter 120$, half 240$, zip 480$....it is ridiculous
My main reason was to stay away from some of the unsavory-type characters that are normally involved with dealing. Last time a friend hooked me up with a connect he dropped off a little package of white zipped up inside my little package. I don't need/want that shit. Even though it was his mistake he called me back up super pissed and worried that I wasn't going to give it back even though I wanted absolutely nothing to do with it and gave it back right away.

With two kids, a wife and two businesses this is strictly for personal and even if it costs me more to produce than buy at the end of the day (I've never done the math) I'm happy to do it this way.

Plus its become an awesome hobby!

@Loyalty: I'm too lazy to go back and find out what kind of nutrients you're using. What line/brand?

Yeah, I hear ya on the "unsavory" characters. My main guy isn't too sketchy, but I'd still rather not give him all my money :), and like you said, its just too much fun growing it myself! I will be using the fox farm trio, haven't given them anything yet, as the ffof is pretty hot by itself. Next Friday will be 3 weeks I believe. I'll consider using the nutrients once I hit that mark.

Besides the fact that once you smoke the fruits of your labor, you will never be satisfied with anything else. It's like getting a good sound system in your car, then going back to AM/FM factory radio!!!

Could this be why your guys are suffering a little? I've been giving small amounts of nutrients (General Hydroponics Organics line) since they were little seedlings.

Did you use soil that already had nutrients in it?

Yeah, the fox farm ocean forest is loaded with nutrients. In fact a little too much, cause my girls burn with every watering. My next run will be with something with a bit less "heat". I think they are slow growing because of a PH hiccup I had and recently resolved. Could also be because I'm being overly cautious with how much/often I water.

Maybe for next one use that nutrient rich soil on the bottom half of your pots.. use nutrient free soil up-top. Water from the bottom too. Again I'm a total noob so take everything i say with a grain of salt.

It wicks away the water its set in. I'd be worried about root rot with that method. I also would want a consistent medium throughout the whole pot!
