Hi Guys whats up? First post Yay 
Hehe, anyways I just started hydro growing a few weeks back and im trying to figure some things out. I've read a bunch of good threads from here and its helped me out alot I really just need some more specific info.
First Off i'd like to know just how much i should be watering my plants. I have 8 growing in a hyrdofarm megagarden kit i picked up with just a T-5 holding 2 55w bulbs for light which are about 12" from the tops. They are right at about 4 weeks old, and I'm not sure what strain they are save for one that i was told is Jack Harer. Also, I'm pretty sure they were kinda overwatered for the first week or so.
Im on an 18/6 light schedule right now but for the first 2 weeks i was doing 24/0 and the plants are only about 8 1/2" tall. They arnt showing any signs of anything major so far besides the leaves are the slightest bit droopy on a few of the plants. The temps have stayed from 72 - 78 with the humidity rising and falling between 40-80. The ph was 6.3 when i put it in and over the past few days has raised to 7.8 which i know is not good and I have no idea why
They're in the 5 x 5 planter that came with the kit filled with hydroton pebbles which have what looks like a salt buildup on them. Some of the plants have a few roots sticking 2-3 inches out of the bottom of the planter so im wondering if i should get a better container? Sorry about the rambling on sentences, just tryin to give ya all my info
