First indoor setup? Criticism accepted

So this is my first indoor grow. I'm currently starting third week of veg. In seven gallon smart pots. Roots organic 707. Some clones are a week old. (Couldn't get them all at the same time). Have yet to give any nutrients (running nectar of the gods). Lights are two nanolux 630 with all four bulbs being the 4100k running them all the way through. In a 10x10 tent. I have a four burner autopilot co2 generator with autopilot master controller. Yet to turn on, waiting for flower. Temps in low 70s most of the time. Humidity at 50-55. Could use help on when to start feeding? Light distance from canopy and light distance from each light to best optimize.

I would have went with the 3100k if you are running all the way through, far as newts go i would start at 1/4 to 1\2 strength and work up to full strength if you ever need to. I dont run my fertilizers at 100% i use cutting edge solutions.

when those flip to flower and stretch, that tent is going to be FULL.......
and i'm not sure you're going to get much benefit out of a co2 generator in a tent, unless you have it in a sealed room, with a good ac.
tents aren't even close to air tight, most of your co2 will just exit the tent and the room, and your house(hopefully before it kills you in your sleep)
otherwise nice looking set up

I was torn on what bulbs to get but it seemed from what I read in forums the difference is miniscul. And thanks on the nutrient tip. I would have went full bore.

Your using a co2 generator in a tent? I hope your not venting in your house haha. Where is this tent?
1500ppm is not even close to deadly. Co2 falls as I'm sure you all know. I have a monitor. Tent is in basement. It's only a four burner. It just seemed a lot more cost effective than bottled co2 in my opinion.

Saying its miniscul is kinda ridiculous, a penny is miniscul but if you have 100 pennies you have a dollar little things add up to be huge diffrences, using 4100 is like me trying to use my metal halid for flower sure it will work but you have the densness or the hardiness but thats just science not an opinion.

We'll see I guess. I agree on things adding up. I just read a lot of guys running side by sides and the results were inconclusive from my understanding. If this grow goes as planned profits will be turned right around to get more equipment so maybe run both or all 3k.

The co2 generator is farther away from everything 6 inches more than recommended. But bring on the criticism it helps more than it hurts.

You must be new to this.

I'm sure you have a great monitor and it's in the basement. Makes sense on paper right?

What happens when you kick a cord.
Or any component in your generator, monitor or lines went faulty.

What if it continually dumps co2 in your basement and it fills up. Theen your fans for your furnace kick on, or it starts going up in the vents and kills you or your family.

What if it's so thick that when you go downstairs you passout. Then somone comes to check on you then they pass out.

Your trying to bandaid a problem.

Instead of using a bigger co2 option, in an unsafe place like inside your house. Why don't you build an air tight room and put a minisplit a/c and a tank.

I'm co2 generator is for green houses outside where you have airflow but can't help it.

Your trying to over power a leaky tent.

Fix the main problem

Very new to this and truly appreciate it. So I'm pry gonna hold off on it this go around then. Was kinda diving in head first with this.

So you would say the problem is the fact I'm using a tent? Due to them being so leaky

Yes, i don't know what your space looks like but your budget looks pretty loose haha

If you want to use co2... I'd get a grow or two down first because co2 is going to make your plants need more light and more food and space. And if you haven't done this befor your going to be in for a rude awakening because it's not as easy as people make it look in here lol. You should dial in your Temps and humidity lights and nutrients befor you even look at co2

But if your horny to get going, I'd start by selling the tent and buying some building supplies like 2x4 and dry wall and insulation. A door. And lots of good silicone for the cracks.

Build a room in your basement

Also a small mini split ac and a medium sized dehumidifier

That way you have a sealed space.

For extra safety you could get a monitor and put the sniffer in the room and the display outside by your door.

That way you could still use your generator.

You could even have a small exhaust fan so you could purge the room before you go in or if it gets too high

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I really appreciate your advice

I'd search around for updated ppm numbers for canabis too. It's not as high as people seem to think.

I think 1100 under optimal conditions is better than 1500

if you can keep it (the co2) in the room, with temps around 88-90, and rh over 60%, 1100 will make a noticeable difference. it's up to you to decide if its worth it.
it also looks like its in your tent. i would set it up outside. you have a lot of plants started. unless you flip them very early sea of green style, when those start to flower and stretch, you aren't going to have room in that tent for anything else
