fat people are fat because they eat too much. not necessarily because they eat too much SHIT, just too much in general. you can have a freezer full of diet food but it doesn't matter if you eat it all in one sitting. they can't legislate calorie intake (yet).
i see a lot of humor in the fact that they want to tell us what to eat and or tax us extra on "bad food", but they will never outlaw tobacco, a product that kills millions and creates a major strain on the health care system, same as the "obesity epidemic". they figured out that taxing smokers "worked out". no one cares about those nasty 'ol smokers or their rights or wallets. so now they are going to go after the fatties via junk food taxes and fines and penalties for "insubordinate food manufacturers", knowing full well that demonizing fatties and everything they love is something that's easy to get people on board with. it's about revenue, not health.
in conclusion, it's all bullshit and the law can kiss my ass.

I am not a fan of Mc Donalds .. But I do miss the Mc Rib and the Mega Mac ... and ur right! The fries have changed and it all tastes very bland now.. I am all in favour of making food healthier.. My guess is the obeseity epidemic in this country is pushing the health care costs thru the roof (my employer and I pay 1281 bucks per month) and it's a feeble attempt for a healthier populous thus reducing health care costs. Since they removed trans fat from fried fast food joints I don't eat the fries anymore cuz they taste like shit.
