First low budget closet grow///how am i doing???

quick question .... all the plants have a few hairs that have turned red or are turning red ... theres only a few on each plant is this normal today is exactly 4 weeks of flower so can anyone let me know if this is normal? thanks

yep quite normal for older hairs to turn red
It is making lots of new white ones still? Or has that slowed down...cause it should be making tons of new ones right now

yeah alto its gaining lots everyday but some are going red only very few onn each plant and it is the older ones because its the ones in the middles to tops of the plants which were the first to have pistils so hopefully its ok all looks good lots of bud mass gaining and more hairs growing everyday plants look healthy and hopefully ill get some pics up today

They are coming on well mate, you will see an awesome difference when you get your new HPS!! I started with tubes on my first grow and changed mid flowering. Have a look for yourself

thanks for the help yeah i cant wait to get a hps light they seem to be the best option aside from the heat but i can control that im 1/3rd of the way thru flowering but i think im gonna wait tell next grow ( which i think is going to be a sea of green from clones off my biggest plant )

I used to think you couldnt clone a plant after beginning flowering. Ive since learned that this is possible. I flowered 3 plants this time round and when i was certain the first largest plant was female, i put her back into my veg room. Its hard to say how well she reacted to that, she still living anyway! I took a couple of cuttings and they are coming on now but slowly. I must post some pics of this second grow.

i wanted to clone mine after budding is this possible ... .like after i take the buds off then take the cuttings and put em in soil what you think>

Hmmm, I think thats leaving it a bit too late in the cycle. I'd do it now or wait till your next grow and aim at keeping a good mother plant from that.

ooo ok thanks for the support i was hoping i wouldent have to buy seeds but iguess im gonna have too ... damn o well im gonna order some northern lights and white widow for the next grow .... what is the earliest//////latest that i can clone

You can take cuttings anytime in the veg stage. Obviously the plant has to be developed enough to be able to take suitable cuttings. I put to flower & waited until the sex showed then went straight back to veg with her as a mom. There are lots of different ways, if your gro-room is easilly accessible and you are in there very regularly - you could tie wrap a bag over one of the growth tips and remove it again daily. giving this one branch 12/12 Effectively you are simulating the onset of fall for this one growth tip. this tip should within 2 weeks show its sex and if she is female, - you have a mother. Once you have a mother in veg all the time - clone for your life dude. Others advise taking clones early, letting them grow a bit, then going to flower to see if the donor was indeed female. this is time consuming and not my preferred option.

You can always revert back to a 24/0 light schedule and cause the plant to go back into vegging from what I read.
I have not done this so its not first hand advice.
I read in a journal where the guy flowered the plant out all the way, took the buds, and trimmed down the plant, then just sent it into 24/0
with grow nutes and started to re veg it.
I think it was called rejuvenating the plant?
I will look it up for you but the way I figure...
If your done with the plant anyway and try this it can not hurt anything right?
If it dies it was dead to you anyway and if it starts to reproduce leaf mass you can take your cuttings etc...
He said he wanted to sample the smoke before committing it to be a mother plant as he wanted only good smoke from any cuttings.
Made sense to me and if I was not going to grow a completely different strain next round I would try it/

thanks alto im gonna try that .... because im still gonna order the seeds but i want to havea sea of green as well as 5-8 nice 2-3 footers then i should be able to get a decent yeild im thinking about 2 400 watt hps lights as well as 8 150 watt equiv. cfl's what you think .... anyways lets get back on track with this grow haha ... i had a question if my plants are not full sativa and had a decent percent of indica in the mix, would that mean the plant will be done in less than 12 weeks? and sorry for no recent updates im gonna post pics today of them for sure so keep watchin they'll be up soon

Yeah probably, they look pretty Sativa dominant tho
Did you buy this seed? If its bag seed it could well be full fledged Sativa
or a hybrid who knows?
We at least know its not an Indica

welll todays is 5 weeks 1 day of flower so day 36 of flower and there looking pretty good

plant 1 -- is 3 and a half feet tall looking really good all bud sites from the middle up are covered in crystals and id say 30% of the hairs are red on this plant, water level good, leaves a nice dark green with light green ones at the top bud sites looking really good
plant 2 -- is 3 feet 4.5 inches tall and looking pretty good has nice bud sites on it and is gaining many crystals only 10% hairs are red, water level good, i topped this plant and the top looks crazy as youll see in the pics
plant 3 -- is 3 feet 4 inches tall and also has a crazy looking top after i topped but looking good, water level good buds looking ok
plant 4 -- is 2 and a half feet and looking ok by far the smallest bud mass and i dont think its gonna produce much but even 3 grams is better than none haha but its looking alright

im gonna post pics soon within the hour the pics are being takin right now and the plants are falling over a bit from bud mass im going to get bamboo sticks soon today so keep checkin in pics to come soon the plants are looking really good

as you can see there are many red hairs and crystals in the big plant mostly ... judging by these pics can anyone tell me how long left you think they have because the big plant seems like its not gonna take 12 weeks i think mabey 10 but i dont know

..... looking at the pics doesent do them justice the crystals you can see looking close up at them are way better than the pics ...

get a magnifying glass. look close up on the crystals to see if they are cloudy or amber. if there cloudy. that would be a head high. if there amber. its gonna be a couch lock high. so either way ulll get stoned. i would give them about 3 maybe 4 more weeks=]

thanks bro but all the crystals on the buds and leafs look cloudy/white the other 3 dont have many red hairs yet so i dont think they will be done as fast as plant 1 but soon after im hoping the buds will fill out some more before the end of flowering ..... so what do you guys think of my pics????

once again its not about the hairs... the trichomes. . about your pics? could always use more light. .



that one dont even seem to be gettin light. or you got another light that comes on??
