Ok, Here's some better pics...

a buddy of his came down, for some clippings, so I just figured we'd top them all really good, and let them go one more week... normally I'd just bend them and flower them all this week, but I took quite a bit off and want them to bush out before flowering... should be good, I think he's really started getting it togeather...

Ok guys and Gals... Merry Christmas... Here's the final week... Took awhile to get here after a couple problems We had at the start, but here's Week 7... mind you I didn't give two weeks for the clones to really root, so some may really call this week 5... but anyways...

Here's some pics after I went over there and topped them last week, Everything is looking fantastic, and we switched the lights over to 12/12 yesterday...

My buddy's really doing a good job and settleing in

I'm going over there tomorrow to look everthing over and mix his flower nutes...

I had him make 3 clones of the Diesel and 3 clones of my "Punch Drunk" strain.... so that's what's in the picture in the cloner...

In the picture of the veg/mother area there is Diesel on the back left, Punch Drunk on the back right, and the front two are Platinum OG both from seeds from two different growers... those I'll have to work out to check to see if they are female... both came from some very good platium og weed... but that's a project for later...

anyhow... enjoy the pics, and I'll take some more with my camera tomorrow...

Hi Cani - no, you are not talking to yourself but it does seem quiet,, not many people posting. The plants look great compared to earlier when they were small and a bit shrivly looking. Nice work :) Those portable coolers are the shit too - it is summer here, 30C yesterday, without my cooler, the room I use would have been >50C and super steamy.

Yea, I think this grow has come along way, and he's really doing much better... That portable AC unit is just used as a fan right now, it hasn't been over 23C (75 Fahrenheit) in california so weather isn't an issue this time of year... plus with the can fan and ducting it keeps it very cool... I'm really enjoying seeing this grow turn out so good, I just hope it continues to do well... the AC unit doesn't work good enough in the summer so he will have to stop growing during about 4 months while it's hot...

Yeh, I shouldn't really be growing indoors here @this time of year but I'm home a lot so I can look after it proper. Cali hey? The wonders of the wwwibble, I'm in Melbourne, Aus - yesterday we had a 30C day with a change and then monster hail around 5.00pm. Luckily my outside girls rode it out fine but we were in a car stopped on the freeway getting pelted by hail, couldn't see 10 feet, everyone stopped, really freaky stuff. With this crazy weather, I am reliant on my portable AC to keep things stable, done an excellent job so far.
Anyway, keep the pics coming, good pictures are inspirational I find - check my sig, it's my current 'swap to better pot' grow...gl, C ya soon!!! ;)

That sure is some crazy weather... ,

I was going over to my buddy's tomorrow to check everything out, but I'm prob going to be out of town for a couple days... so He's gonna just have to do without me... and I won't get to post any pics until I get back...

he's supposed to change the nutes to some stuff I made him with less N and higher P and K... should be good, I am a bit worried about how much these might stretch during the next two months, because this is in a shed and he does have a low ceiling... right now he has about 2.5ft left to move the light up... and he's about 3ft away from the bulb right now... so I think it will be ok...

Maybe you need to do some LST to keep them down, if they can double in size with room left you should be ok. As for our weather, yes it has been crazy for a while now, can't get away from the fact there is something going on, if it's man-made is the worry..

Yep, He may have to do some LST'ing them... but hopefully not too much, depends alot on how close he lets the bulb get... I usually judge pretty good about how close I can keep the ligth, but I'm not sure If he'll know what to look for if it is too close... and I really hate burning the tops...LOL

'Budmeister', although very expensive($90 a litre here), would be perfect - it reduces the stretching and adds weight to the buds. I only use 'Liquid lead' and root conditioner along with normal A,B nutes. I got the Liquid lead to use for my new CM grow but then found it worked brilliantly with the 'old' AK48, doubling the buds weight, excellent shit. I'm pretty sure it reduced the stretch, similar to 'Budmeister' but @ only 1/3 the price, $30 a litre. Funny how you stumble onto these things - I had given up on 'bud enhancers', after trying 4 or 5 that did nothing, to find 1 that definitely works is the cream on my cake.
Anyway, sorry for babbling on, my wife and I tried some of the CM last night, can still feel it, supa smoke, makes the AK seem like shwagweed...good luck with the LSTing..;)

since I was going out of town, I didn't get over to double check a mix I wanted to use for the first month of flowering... instead I told my buddy to continue to use the veg mix since it won't hurt to use it for a few more days....

so of course stuff goes wrong while I'm out of town...

I ask my buddy if the plants are streatching any... he says yes and that he moved the light up a couple inches... , I told him not to move the light unless he see's some cupping on the leaves... so he said ok, and I told him to leave it where it was and only move the light if he see's cupping or any burning...

so mid week he calls up and says that the tops of the plants are yellowing... I asked him if he moved the light any... he said he moved it "back down" where it originally was before he raised it... #(*$*%.... so now I have to go over there and see if the yellowing is from burn, or from his mismanagement on nutes... What an irritating issue... Plus he is apparently "busy" so I can't go over there... I'm really hopeing he gets his head on straight because I'm moving away in a couple weeks and if he doesn't stop playing around he won't have a decent crop in two months...

here's the pics he sent...

OK, those were just more bad photo's from his POS Iphone... I have no idea why that picture is so yellow... I went over there and checked everything out... no real problems... he did have the light too close the day before because there was some burn on a couple leaves... but other than that there wasn't any issue... the plants were all still green like in the top photo

I told him how to mix the nutes that I wanted him to use, but I wanted him to make sure the PH was ok... unfortunately his PH meter was jacked up... but the nutes were fine...

He apparently didn't look at the photo that he sent... I think he's starting to realize that the iphone takes really poor photos... Unfortuanately I forgot my camera so I can't post any pics... I'll try to get some soon...

Oh and as requested, here's some of my friend's tomatoes and basil. I have no connection to pictured plants: ;) 5th day of flowering. Vegged for almost 5 weeks or so.

Roots Organic soil, and Subcool supersoil in 7 gallons. (Transplanted for flower.) Foliar fed with cal-mag, Liquid karma, and fed with molasses regularly. The North and East plant (top and right) are Full Moon, and to the bottom is WW. It was grown with MH in veg, under 1000W, now a HPS.

Enjoy!

got me with that basil....LOL

Here's the end of 1 week into flowering... I should have more pics tomorrow... for now here's a picture of the grow area, and a pic of the mothers...

guess his humidity is too high... Looks like he's getting a little powery mildew, I'll clear that up with a 50/50 mix of milk and water, and then wash it all off a day or two later...
