First supersoil grow, no nutes, just pure H2O

In hindsight I could have probably let them plants veg for another week and been OK. They had very little stretch and I'm surprised because this is my second grow in my new room where the stretch has not been what I've seen in the past.

So far I'm still not seeing too much of an advantage to the Advanced line yet, but I'm still early on in flower, an I would expect the results to be more evident in the future. To be honest, QT5 is my fastest, strongest plant and it has been fed only water. The other two water only plants are fat and squat, which I'm hoping will mean more potent buds. The triplets are close to each other, and look really nice.

Sorry for the quality of the photos, I'm still learning how to use my white balancer. Better pics next time.

These are the tops that I cut off WAY back when I topped the plants. I originally used them to find the sex of the plant, but figured I would just run them through and get a little bud or two early. Maybe one more week in flower and I'll take them down to taste....

Merry Christmas to ME!!!!! :blsmoke:

Just came across this thread . I like the way you are doing your experiment . I have been wanting to do supersoil also . Just transplanted some into a "hot " mix for the first time , going to see how it does . Subbed +rep

Here are my three ladies that are being fed only H20 with some molasses, CalMag+ and Hygrozyme. For those just tuning in, I'm running Qrazy Train in Subcool's super soil mix in 7 gallon pots. The first two plants are short fat little ladies, and Q.T. 5 is a very nice medium sized plant that is already showing her colors.

Here are the three that are getting the full Advanced Nutrients line of additives, everything except the base nutrient. I wanted to see if they would make a big difference.

They do seem to have a stronger smell and buds that are more space out. Well see what the next few weeks does.

These are also being fed molassesP1020399.jpgP1020406.jpgP1020407.jpgP1020410.JPGP1020416.JPGP1020417.jpgP1020420.jpgP1020422.jpgP1020427.JPGP1020461.jpgP1020462.jpgP1020464.jpgP1020466.jpgP1020469.jpgP1020471.jpg until the end.
