First Time CFL grow in coco and soil

Hello all,
Welcome to my first grow journal. I've been lurking and doing research for a while before growing. Slowly trying to build up my grow room as time and money (mostly money) are a factor. Wanting to do it right and I know that it will be a trial and error on some things, so any input is more then welcome.

My system/grow room:

7/26/13 - Started with 2 plants from my friend. Both were in soil and I'm not sure of the strand. I think one of them was an auto flower. Since then I have taken 7 clones which were in the flowering stage, so they needed to be re-veged; (lost 1 clone) and got 2 more from seedlings from my friend that are in soil and will be transplanting them into bigger pots today using Fox farm soil. I put the clones in a prop until it rooted then transferred them to 1 gal pots in Coco Tek coir with perlite, but 1 I used with hydroton (that trial and error thing)

Lighting:
1- 250watt CFL with 3 26watt CFL's. on a 18/6 in my spare bedroom. Home made light stand out of PVC.

6 - 4ft T8 fluoro tubes (4warm and 2 cool) in a standard closet as to keep it as dark as possible when in the 12/12. Walls have Mylar and put some Orca with the white facing up on the floor.

Nutes:
Clonex rooting solution.
Great White Mycorrhizae
Heavy 16 Veg A&B, Heavy 16 Bud A&B
Using RO water
Sour-Dee
Organic Pesticide (i know its not a nute) Used, if I notice any pests.
Just picked up some Bio Root yesterday, and haven't used it yet.

Environment: I live in Southern AZ, so needless to say it is dry and hot. Using 2 big fans to circulate air and keep things cool. I have the A/C set for 80, and have a ceiling fan as well going on in the room. Just what I have to do in the summer months, at least during the winter I don't have to worry about the cold or freezing temps.

Hoping to be done with the 1st 2 plants in a couple more weeks. Its hard being patient, but I know it will pay off in the end.

Some things I have noticed: There is a lot of info out there, so it pays to do research. Keep it simple, have patience, and don't be afraid to ask question or for help.

Please feel free to chime in with advice, tips, or any comments (good or bad).

UPDATE: Transplanted my 2 seedlings into a 1gal and 3gal (gonna be the mother) fabric pots using Happy frog soil. Also added some more perlite to the mix. Even though the soil had some perlite, it looked to be only a small percentage.

those are some fatties you got that are finishing up soon. what is your pH at?
Thanks - I was running the ph as close to 6 as possible for both coco and soil. I had that PH kit with the drops that you match the color once the drops are in. But just last week I bought a Digital PH tester and so far that has made feeding so much easier, now I'm running 5.8 in the coco coir and 6.4 in soil.

Right now I'm just using RO water and Sour-Dee for the 2 plants that are getting ready to harvest. I just put 4 clones into the the 12/12 and have been using RO water and bio root. I will not use nutes for at least another feeding.
Since I just transplanted the other plants that are in veg, I am just using RO with bio root also. I will start nutes next week at 1/2 the recommended use.
