I would rather have 50 one gram popcorn nugs then 2 10gram colas and 10-15 popcorns
i hope it works out for you! But here, let me atleast explain this, a 1500 lumen cfl 1" above the top will have near 1500 lumens feeding the top and sides of a few leaves. A 1500 lumen cfl placed 6" above will give your entire plant less then 500 lumens vs the 1500 you get on the bud site. Now for 8 weeks straight, your plant gets fed 1000 lumens less every day that is 62,000 lumens that could have been fed to the plant was actually 28'000 lumens because of distance. the extra 1000 lumens per day (light closer to top) will give you more weight on the top cola then your bottom will ever have with cfl's placed far away. You see that pic i posted? That is just 1 top under 1 23watt cfl(notice how close i got them) each top has there own 23 watt cfl.
Sorry if i came off in a bad way. You just seemed surprised that your friend yielded that in a small box thats all. And 300 lumens per square feet 10" below the bulb was what i was thinking you have followed by est. 800 lumens per ft at the tops of the plant.
