so hw does the rain treat your bud? I imagine it would wash a lot of the trichomes off, am I wrong?
Thc is not water soluable an extremely sticky on the plant. So sticky that if a nat so much as lands on a particular part of the leaf he gets stuck and cant move and rain wont even wash him away i gotta pick it off. So no no matter how crazy the rain gets here it doesnt do anything to the trichomes

yup thats what did it with a photosensitive strain i keep my lights close to outside as possible(what it will be doing when ya put them out ) and they dont get shocked and seem to do the best
So this brings me to a question. If they were done indoors once I converted the lights over how long would it take them to be ready?

Nice grow thanks for the log, was wondering though does using planter's make you nervous? Fingerprints freak me out, I have a criminal record and a clear amount of growers paranoia.

Alright bro... If u have some purple kush u can punch the bud u can break it up with ur fingers u can bite it lick it do whatever the fuck you want to it but when u smoke it ur still smoking purple kush and the high is gonna be a purple kush high not a mid high so who gives a shit if a couple crystals outta the billion get washed away. Even tho they cant get washed away lol... Use your head dude. It barley rains in the middle east amd rains every single day here in florida.. Just use ur head! Think!

lol..What the fuck are you talking about man...handle your buds wet or dry and you will get crystals on your hands..those crystals get knocked off in a rainstorm..shake it on screens and collect the glands.. Why do you think Innies sell for more money than outties? The sun is far superior to any hid or led light..it is because there is no rain knocking glands off..you get danker plants indoors.

U dont get better buds inside cuz of the rain lol. U cud grow bud in a green house that doesnt get any rain at all and that bud is still gonna look like outdoor bud... Doesnt have nothing to do with rain lol but what ever u wanna think dude

why are innies superior then? we agree it is not the light..because the sun is the best...you can duplicate the nutes in/out..so the only thing that is different is wind/rain.

Wat about the fact that nothing is constant outdoors where as everything indoors is constant.. Ever thought of that

Constant how?..not sure what ya mean...I was told ten years ago that the reason innies are better is because the no heavy rains or severe wind to beat up the plants..nobody has made a convincing argument to debunk that..I grow mostly outdoors..love it..I like having huge plants with giant ass stalks..the plants clearly grow much larger and stronger outdoors with the sun.. so why would there be more frost on indoors?

Dude what u saying doesnt make ANY sense and i did debunk ur shit when i said that when growin in a green house no wind and no rain touches the plants. So whoever told u that ten years ago LIED. Im done arguin about this u wont never accept it lol and wtf do u mean what do i mean constant. How bout the humidity NBER changed inside. The TEMP changes very very slightly. The light is perfect 12 on and 12 off. What the hell do you mean whats constant.. Everything. When outdoors nothin is constant its all unpredictable

Never grown in a GH so can't comment on it..what is your point about growing in one anyway?...Are you trying to say that the RH and Temp changes that outdoor plants haveto go through is what hinders in the production of thc? because that makes no sense..the temp/RH changes outdoors don't slow the plant down..the outties grow bigger/stronger than innies...agree? so why is that bigger stronger plant not as frosted as the indoor? take 2 clones off the same mom..put one in a 100 gallon smart pot indoors and the other in 100 gal smartpot outdoors in the same soil and same nutes...the outdoors will grow bigger and faster but won't be as frosted.

theyre looking sweet aseboy! hope your stumbles and juans smell as amazing as mine, wish i started earlier in the season so i coulda had some trees like getaway
as for the posts about rain washing away trichs, like atidd said thats not true and its one of the most reoccurring myths i hear on weed forums, keiff/THC/crystals or whatever you call them dont really fall off until the buds dried cause of the resin and its still in a wet form when its still on the plant, its not really powdery yet. not to mention bud is still leaf matter, it absorbs water and all plant matter is partially hydrated, about 1/3 of it is water(why you lose weight when you dry).

thanks everybody for all your post. I'm going to try to get some pictures soon this week hopefully.

Far as the indoor/outdoor debate this is my out take.

Outdoors is the best environment to grow period, but you can create Optiumal grow conditions indoors which best suites the MJ plant. Thus I would say indoors can be better only under those Optimal conditions. If not you might as well grow outside. This includes Light, Nutes, Water, and what i didn't see anybody else say anything about CO2.
