Don't know if it's just me, but it seems like these buds are growing super fast! Here's some close ups I took 5 minutes ago.

Yea I like the macro setting on my point and shoot more than I like it on my DSLR. I think it's an Olympus 6000 or something, haven't been able to find it for a few months now lol. Oh I see some reddish stems :P j/k I'm sure you have all of this under control lol.

Lol I was wondering if anyone would notice the stems :-P

I almost started to trip out and consider re-evaluating the feeding, but it's only a couple and supposedly some strains get red stems in flowering. Keeping an eye out just in case. Started liquid karma and fish / seaweed mix a few days ago.

Looks great Lady J - That is what you get when you buy some good genetics :)

As for the red - you have seen the macros of my big outdoor clone. That fan leaf has a stem that is bright red on the top half.

Cheers,
Mo

That's right Mo! That's exactly where I'm seeing the color change too, near fan leaves. Have you heard anything about why it happens?

Smoked a few bowls and got to thinking about my box :P. I haven't been able to move the planter out since fastening the screen inside in order to scrog the plants. They've outgrown the trellis long ago and I've been noticing that the area beneath the canopy was overly thick. Decided to cut the trellis from the plants and let them go through the rest of flowering without it. I cleared up some dead and dying leaves, did a light pruning, watered thoroughly and gave the girls a good spray. Going to let them drain into the bath tub for a little bit, then move back to the box.

Noticed that the skunk's side was considerably thicker and just overall, more well grown than the Kush. Don't know if it's due to genetics or lighting but am going to flip the planter to have the plants on opposite sides and see what happens.

I'm sorry, but grape?! That's just nasty.

Lol, sorry, I smoke cigars. I like to enjoy flavors, especially pipe tobaccos. Whiskey is my favorite, I could never do grape tho.. Even strawberry gets me in the flavor dept as being too much.

Wow, didn't realize I was that passionate about my tobacco--that sucks--I hate that one herbaceous plant is legal over another!

All blunts are nasty to me, doesn't matter what flavor lol. I usually only smoke Js, but my neighbors like blunts so I had it around.

Hi Lady J,
When I grew back in the 70's it was considered a good thing when you had some red or purple in the plant. There are some plant issues that will show colors but that is only in a dying unhealthy plant. The color you are seeing is because your baby has great parents related to those desirable plants from the 70's.
Cheers,
Mo
