I started growing last week. I Have 4 plants and they are in the seedling stage. Each plant has a set of two leaves. They are about 1.5" tall and sits been 4 days. I am using a 75watt plant light. I have some questions. First, I have a clamp light and it bent the stem on my tallest one. didnt break it just bent is that plant done for? Second, i have the plants in tiny cups basically and im wondering at what height should i mov them to a bigger pot. Finally, How often should I water them. I am unsure of the strain and their sexes. Any advice for a first timer and answers to these questions would be very much appreciated!:weed:

If the plant is just leaning toward the light then no its fine, you might want some more light though. Consider some 125 or 150 watt cfls or a 400 watt hps Grow light. You can move them after like 2-3 weeks when the plants have a good enough root system. You wont be able to tell sex until they start flowering and then you will see pollen sacs (male) or white hairs (female).

1. It should be fine, it could even make some of the lower branches grow out more and catch up with the top cola
2. Probably after a couple weeks to a month they will need to be transplanted, typically when they get 3-5 good sets of leaves I move them over.
3.water them whenever the top inch of the soil is dry, for cups it usually needs water every other day or two but as it gets bigger it will probably need daily watering in such a small container.

You will probably want to add in more cfls too, about 100w per plant once you hit flowering is the minimum Id do.

Alright So new light. The light fell on the plant and bent the stem pretty hard. Its still intack so what i did was put a straw in the soil to kep the plant up right. I hope it will be okay. Thank you for the advice. ANother question, I start the 12/12 light system at about what height and time length?

You start it up when your plants fills one third to half of your growing space, or pretty much when you feel like it, but know that they stretch to 2-3 times their height in flowering so be prepared to tie your
plants down if you go past half the height of your grow area.

Well borermr, firstly get higher wattage lights like; HPS, SunGro,etc. Then if in fact you are going to do indoor then hopefully your grow room is already at optimum environment? The watering and the transplanting? Well if you already know the sex(females only) then go ahead and transplant them from the container they are in and move up to a 15 gallon. I would use a soil mixture of ; Supersoil,Bloodmeal,Bonemeal,Perlite. The watering since they aren't too large will be minimum at this point.
